I decided to come back to making gaming lore videos for fun, and to start with I want to cover as much Assassin's Creed stuff as I can. Im aiming for 1 a week and plan to just start with Assassin;s Creed, but I am interested in revamping things like my Resident Evil and MGS videos and such. This is going to be different though as I intend to hit ALL the extra media, so Novels, Comics, Extra Media and such. Let me know if your one of our old subscribers before we tried other ideas, Also if you are looking for the old videos, the Listcussions or the DND< they are unlisted. I'll leave the playlists, but I didnt want them visible if I just wanted to use my old channel for my own fun passion project.

Ea/Enki is the head/invisible force of Gilgamesh Epic, he sees Gilgamesh like a narcisist hybrid demi-god and he creates Enkidu to make him realize the value of responsability and friendship. So I think that Ea was the reason of Gilgamesh searching everlasting life in his journey. What If the "Me Tablets" where Isu tech, and If Ea was Jupiter or another Isu creating hybrids. And the "Athrahasis" where Enki saves Utnapishtim (Noah) from the Flood. Then Gilgamesh go to Utnapishtim to adquire knowlegde about inmortality, that was all influenced by Ea's decision making. So I think in the Lore that GOT Something to do, at least they wanted to overlook the primal inspiration of their franchise and lose one of their biggest opportunities to fix the lore, giving realism to the search of the Templars, and the mission of the Creed.

@EligibleMonster Жыл бұрын
Juno in general is going to be an entire video, so her direct issues with Minerva will come up. Juno was the original plot for like 11 games, then 12 comics. So her story is something of its own. The purpose of this video was just to clarify the overall Isu plot itself, not all the little plots that came out of these goals. (Shroud, Valhalla, Staff, Juno, that kind of thing) Originally i was going to put it ALL into this one video, but the raw audio was reaching 35 minutes before we cleaned it up so I figured this is enough for one video lol

its great that you like the new direction and rewrite of ac lore but i personably disagree. both gameplay and lore was relatively grounded in our own reality, and the isu was the answer and the "real" reason to why humans have historicaly been religous and believed in magic and the supernatural, and why people and leaders of the world have always strived for power. the departure from this in both gameplay and lore to have actual superpowers and the isu being gods or godlike beings takes away the feeling of what if that was OUR reality and deep philosofical and existential questions that the lore of ac provided.

I've personally never really liked the Isu or the Precursors. Seeing an idea of what History could have been like or the "why" something may have happened, when talking about the more supernatural parts of history, is generally interesting. But I generally feel that they take away from the game's scope when it comes to depth. It's a problem in a lot of titles when you can point at something and say "this is where it came from/ this is what caused it" and when dealing with the differing gods of the many cultures that have spanned Human History... it can really feel hollow and at times dismissive to have a "ah, this is the answer" for beings that were created to explain what was then, the unexplainable. Still, the video was really well done. Great job compiling and explaining a lot of the jumbled parts of the lore.

The only thing that bothers me about this story is nothing to do with the actual story itself but how it was treated by Ubisoft post AC3, which is the original story that the modern day narrative was building up to was completely scrapped & the modern day story was just left in never ending state of endless procrastination in order to make sure that the AC series can enterally go on In perpetuity. But Ubisoft studio heads still had to deal with the headaches of having give some kind of conclusion to a story that their ex employees had started all those years ago but *NOT* in an official videogame capacity so Ubisoft doesn’t have to spend any real money to make full fledged videogame just to shut the fans up. So Ubisoft just dumped a half assed conclusion inside a comic & just move on as if the games that came before just never happened.

Thank you for making this video. I don't like the ISU Plot anymore. I still find it hard to understand why this and that happens. In the end it's Ubisoft's greed to keep this franchise going that's ultimately the doom of it. Assaassin's Creed is too big nowadays. Newer games have to have an conncetion to the overall storyline while simultaneously cater to new people. I cannot imagine that the writers of ubisoft understand half of the isu lore that you've presented in your video nore that there is a big revelation at the end of Assassin's Creed that ties all storys together.

2:15 The history of the Isu all over the place. Well, the same can be said about the history of humans.

I watched this, and now I STILL have NO idea what the lore behind this is. It’s so needlessly complicated lmao I jumped into the franchise with Syndicate and was so confused when I first played it. Ever since I’ve started comprehending the entire story better, but I mostly just ignore the present day plot now. The history is what I’m interested in anyway. I do appreciate the soft reboot they did with the last three games. Valhalla definitely gave me a more comprehensible storyline - I finally understand where the present day story is heading lol

Wait a second!!! #1, I just found this channel. It's awesome, so thank you!! But!!!!! I've played all the games. How did I miss that Loki reincarnated as Basim??? What about the Sage from Black Flag??? Who is that???

Welcome to the channel! Ignore some of those older videos, they are slowly going to be removed as I improve and fix a bunch. But as for your Sage question, thats Juno's husband. I'll be making a video on the Sages and Resurrections soonish (I have the Daniel Cross story next week and wanted to explain the 6 Apples of Eden first) The Basim/Loki and Eivor/Odin resurrections are actually separate from the Sage resurrections though.

@@EligibleMonsterAre they tho (Asgard Sages)? We only know what Valhalla told us. For all we know, they could have been reborn before or even after. Their DNA was introduced into the human DNA gene pool so it is possible. All the Aita Sages only had the memories of ISU Aita, never the memories of their past human lives.

I'm new to Assassin's Creed, I really needed this because I was really confused about the Isu and the pieces of Eden. I started with Odyssey & played Valhalla too but I went back to play through it properly, I'm currently on Unity and I'm looking forward to Syndicate. So far Black Flag is my favourite then Odyssey as I really like Greek history.

Mirage brought plastic cutlery to the table and 2 40oz's. The 40s were just for Mirage.

Dude, I found a wiki talking about random things about the Thousand Year War, Forerunners, Pak, intergalactic exploration... Like, what?!
