I love the game, but I spent so much time doing side quests, that I completely lost track of the main story and honestly I don’t remember any of it

Side quests are a series of problems caused by main story. For me, side quest give me bigger picture of how horrible the situation they were in, and after collecting the clues and realize how bad they messing up with people I have more reason to assassinate the target (main quest). Maybe you just sees side quests as its own story, that's why you lost track.

Mineral Woteh I didn’t care about the side quest of Origins because most of them were terrible. Bad voice acting, repetitive level designe, doll history. It felt more like a chore and less like I was having fun But I get what you mean, I felt the same way with Red Dead Redemption 2

SPOILER: to be fair you did look up this vid... I just realized that one of the opening intros with bayek's son (khemu) around 10:25 talks about how khemu is always scared. the rest of the clip was cut out but i remember bayek was trying to comfort khemu and mentioned that he too was once scared at his son's age and remembered that his father said one word that would forever change him which was the word "jump." hence in the next cutscene it shows the son trying to jump but again got too scared. FAST FORWARD. now the kid that bayek and his new crew rescues at 2:33:20 (oddly enough the kid kinda looks like khemu) and the kid says he doesn't want to go home by himself because he's scared. comfortingly, bayek obliges and assumedly walks the kid home. FAST FORWARD a bit. at the end scene where bayek is on the roof reading aya's letter @ 2:34:59 at the very end (again uploader cut it off wtf) you hear bayek's son's voice say "papo.... jump!" insinuating that jump off the building into a conveniently placed haystack that seems to be iconic of the game series in general. such a beautiful tie to the end of the story. FYI if you also played AC 2 with Ezio Auditore, one of the statues in monteriggioni has previous well known assassins such as altair and guess who? Amunet AKA Aya (bayek's "wife")

origins was perfection in terms of rejuvenating the formula without sacrificing the story, odyssey and valhalla have strayed in terms of cinematic quality due to the choices and character choices, its fine for choices on a multiplayer platform. For a game like Assassin's Creed, time is necessary for a quality output

I loved origins’ story, it was just really interesting and emotional. Even though it feels somewhat rushed in areas It’s great. I hope the newest AC game “after Valhalla” use mocap like origins, these cinematic cutscenes work so much better and enhance storytelling massively

It's sad that big channels on youtube like ign take this segment of "game movies" from little youtubers and copy it. I know that there are big ones like "gamer's little playground" and others who are specialized on game movies and cutscenes. Nevertheless I think that it's dangerous if the trend is that big channels copy different video formats from little youtubers. If that's the case, it seems like the little ones will lose their relevance - if they even had relevance before - and in the end there will only be the big players. No individuality. Furthermore, I know that everyone has the right to do what they want to do on youtube - as long as they follow the rules on youtube. But as already mentioned, I think that it's the trend that big players copy the ideas that work for little channels to grow even bigger. Starting youtube today - in comparison to let's say 2010 - there are no equal chances for newcomers to get attention and become big. There are these old, well known, famous big players, and if you aren't an extraordanary gifted person, or have good connections to bigger youtubers, there are little chances to get your channel working for you. I'm sorry for my bad english skills, but I hope that you can understand what I wanted to say.

I rarely quit games before I finish them, but this is one of them. The level system limits the game to an unacceptable level, basically reducing it to a grinding chore. And for what? This might be the weakest story in the franchise. A simpleton's revenge story that fails to amount to anything. Ubisoft failed spectacularly this time.

So why can't we all just agree to disagree and go about our days. And the game is dope, actually sit down and throw your memories of past games and expectations and play it and you may be surprsied.
