The Desheret Desert is another great area to get hallucinations. Some of the few hallucinations I got were the plague of locusts, The sky turning black with scarabs falling from the sky, and the creepiest one being the one where you see the fiery ghost version of Khemu slowly walking towards you and just standing there for a good minute before disappearing.

(Moses did that after God gave him powers.. he did it in front of the Pharao and his men. Both of these things happens in Exodus. The insects rain could also be a reference to one of the plagues of Egypt.

In the quest the Scarab's lies, when Bayek is buried in the sand to his neck, he has 4 hallucinations of people tallons to him. Thèse are random. So far, i've seen Medunamun, Eudoros, Ptolemy, Cleopatra, Apollodorus, Aya, Rabiah and Hepzefah. They tell a lot about Bayek's guilt, remorse and what's in his subconsious.

I had a vision, a "zooming" vision what shows the way and I followed it for a long while and in I saw at one point a flyign cloth. Then the "zooming" visions continues but after a few hundread meters I lost it..... But it start to lead me at Iment Nome's fast travel point (broken ship) and ended at the border of Iment Nome and Qattara Depression. So this vision leads me for about 1500m!

I’m pretty sure it was a mirage that reflected Bayek’s heat induced insecurity while he thought about his wife and where she would be at that particular moment... helping Appolodorus and killing the other members of The Order of Ancients. It’s still possible that she may have slept with Appolodorus out of grief from Kemu’s death but the kind of woman she is, I don’t think she would.

You got to appreciate they put in desserts to keep the game accurate to geography. But they are very empty even with these mirages the game could have given us some random events in these big open areas. Like skyrim does on its roads. A player should not go 5 to 10 mins on just travel without some action. But that is nit picking I love this game.

I like that the hallucinations are just there as they would be in life. They serve no purpose other than to just be the literal representation of Bayek's thoughts and subconscious, just as you would hallucinate in the desert in actual life. For the first 30 minutes of the first one I was like okay this has to lead to something right? Maybe follow the direction the sand blows. Yeah, that's it. Heh heh. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The vulture on body is actually an Eagle or Hawk.. (as it seens) a vulture on body would make more sense as an actuall happening.. this can mean some meta language.
