Remember there wasn't that many changes in game play from Brotherhood or Revelations but they where still solid, enjoyable games, I think we should give it a chance, if it is anything like AC4 I'll still be happy I really enjoyed it

Modern air rifles date back to 1580, so we know they were around in the time period but they were pretty rare. Grenade launchers actually date back to the 16th century as well and were referred to as hand mortars. But a hybrid weapon like Shay's is something I've never seen before. I'm sure weapons did exist like that because hybrid weapons date back to the 16th century too. Since AC Rogue takes place from 1752 to 1761 the technology would have been there.

I am quit excited about Rogue. We finally get to see the Templar side of this war. Also this is a great game to fill the time I have to wait for Unity.

I like assassin's creed Rogue more than Unity... well at least right now.My problem is that it's not coming to PC. I don't know what will turn better.

Maybe rogue is the same in compat-parkour-graphics with ac4 but rogue have a lot of things that ac4 doesn't have and also they can't do big changes in old gen games ac have the maximum graphics for ps3-360 they can't improve it more. But is gonna have an very very very interesting story this game is connected with ac3-ac4-ac unity. I don't have a new console or a good pc to play unity but I'm huge fan of ac and I'm gonna buy it

It's just a re skin, I know you're playing as a Templar which is cool but there aren't enough differences to actually feel like you're playing an assassin especially when shay has the exact same fight style as Edward, climbs just like every other assassin and basically does everything every other assassin did only with minor changes, AC2 looks better than this and that came out years ago.

They've been clever making you play as a guy along side of Haytham instead of playing as Haytham. Or else it'd have been VERY generic. I've got to hand it to Ubisoft for what they've done for AC: Rouge, trying to finish the Kenway saga in a good tradition.

NAHHH This game is going to be the same shit as assassin creed 3. I really dint like the boats in the games. You were always in the damn water. I like the assassin being in land killing people. I saw some gameplay of Rogue and they basically copy paste the assassin creed 3 game. Im not going to waste my money on this. But unity looks awesome Cant wait :)

"Big Changes" is everyone blind or something? Its a complete copy and paste of AC4. Shay's moveset identical to Edward and the weapons does the exact thing with the blowpipe for AC4! What! Woah freezing screen! How the hell does that make a good game? Seriously Ubisoft you could at least tried. But then again there is Unity.

As someone who absolutely adored Black Flag, I'm inclined to agree. Don't get me wrong, the setting is fine and the Templar angle seems interesting, but I already have my epic ship-based pirate game, so I'll pass on this one. Ubisoft just wanted to not leave last-gen out in the cold and try out naval combat one last time; everyone knows Unity is this year's main event.

Am I the only one supremely pissed off that the first Irish protagonist in an Assassin's Creed game has the worst and most inaccurate Irish name? Shay Patrick Cormac? Really? Fucking Paddy McFinnigan would have been a better name and that's a stereotype! It's not even a fully formed name it's a girl's name followed by 2 Irish FIRST NAMES. Goddammit Ubisoft, I love you guys but you dun goofed...
