Odyssey is a masterpiece. It has by far one of the best gear system in the entire franchise-the fact that you can deal 2 billion damage on a light attack is just pure fun

Just a bloated game. “Billion damage” bruh that’s not AC, 😂 That’s used to pad out the games length. In old games you only needed your fists to beat the game.

I own all, still play all. I expect more in 2024. Not just a in between of Mirage and Valhalla. I’m allowed too, cause I buy these games, and like them. Your crowd opinion isn’t gonna change that, cause everyone views these games the same. “It’s just another Assassins Creed” just like COD. Nothing ground breaking, sadly never will be again. The last great AC was decade ago, understand that. The animator for AC went on to work for “Naughty Dog” cause they knew he had talent.

I see a couple leaks in your “boat” and are warning you about them. That is the difference, that is how you share ideas. It’s gonna take either a remake of the old games, or for this to be good for me to have faith in the brand. Cause atm it’s just made for micro-transactions and season passes. The only thing I want is a good story. I have not gotten that in two games.

The game looks amazing. Needs more polishing since it is a work in progress. But all in all, it looks like it’ll be one of the greatest Assassin’s Creed titles in the whole franchise. And if people say that this game is garbage, they’re wrong.

You do realize this is a nitpick. Uniformity in formation of patrol units and convoys is a pretty universal thing across cultural lines because its all rooted in military culture. Further, in games like these, especially AC Series, it's an established genre trope that provides familiarity to experienced fans. Would it be nice to have more contrasts in behavioral awareness between different enemy types? Sure. But we haven't even seen combat with bandits or more erratic behaving enemies yet, so we don't know if they patrol differently. Even if they didn’t travel in less organized formations, it still wouldn't be that big of a deal. Many bandits in feudal Japan also had military infantry backgrounds before becoming outlaws so it's not that jarring to immersion either. P.S. if you're talking about enemy types as in heavies (tanks) and rogues, that's also just a genre and series trope. Throw in archery units for good measure.

Notice yasuke took off his helmet whiles talking to the elderly woman in the earlier cutscene but maintained it whiles conversin with noia.. thats a universal sign of respect for the elderly especially in africa..... Great detail

Literally looks almost identical to ghost of tsushima what a joke.. from the UI to the combat mechanics (red and blue indicators) Its really sad that I feel like many will purchase this game for seemingly no reason. Give Ghost of Tsushima a try before purchasing this is you really feel the need. Gameplay elements as well (boss fight) small breaks inbetween combat complete rip from Ghost as well. 9:53 Where have i seen this before 🤔. 10:01 Dead body that seemingly guard that walks into room never notices somehow (Light off so must be invisible i guess) .

I would argue that GOT gave the blueprint of what a Samurai/ Shinobi style combat could look like. They also gave a really detailed open world because it’s a Sony exclusive, which are known for their enhanced visual fidelity. AC Shadows looks to take that similar approach but on a larger scale and with more speed. Both will play very differently, so before people start comparing and criticizing prior to the game’s release, just sit back and enjoy.
