There are so many bugs and inaccuracies in this PV that it makes me laugh. How could a producer tell us that it brought us closer to a realistic Japanese feudal era? Is Ubisoft insane to use a sliding door that opens like an automatic door, a transparent door like a superpower, or a floating sliding door? He says that Japan is an accurate description of the feudal period of Japan with elements of science fiction, but it's such a bad joke that I even feel bad towards Japan. And they still like plagiarism. Now they're ripping Nijo Castle into the ceiling. There are other things that are getting ripped off, and they should learn a little bit about what respect is, and they should have a little bit more professionalism on the job.

Because good facial animations are hard to make in a game that "only" had 4 years of development, believe it or not 4 years is not a lot these days to make a good game. That's why even the best AC games still have some bad mechanics and are generally "decent" games, although haters will always complain no matter the game.

I wished they would’ve treated Yasuke parkour like they did Miles Morales in his game. It was slightly more sloppy but he would still do a lot of what Peter could. I think his core should’ve been that he’s a samurai at heart and doesn’t fully believe in the stealthy approach (kinda like Jin at the start of GOT) but adopts at least a few of Naoe’s assassin style moves

I don't recall us ever seeing a variety of outfits prior to the last few games releasing, beyond things like pre-order or deluxe edition bonuses. They typically stuck to a single outfit for marketing purposes. But still, game's still got 3 months to go, so we might see more before then. I do kinda hope that the ability to switch up their hairstyles is a feature that gets carried over from Valhalla, but with a better selection than Eivor got.

I wonder how we used to switch between the main assassin and the eagle will be replaced by switching between Naoe and yasuke but if they’re close, we can switch with no problem, but if they are too far from each other, it will take a while to load to the next character🤔🤔🤔🤔

I think the switching will be more like Spider-Man 2, where when you switch, you get a neat in character cutscene, but ultimately just end up in the same general area you were in with the other

Yasukes beard and Naoes hair change throughout the trailers and sneak peeks so I wander if that’s Ubi hinting at a character creation similar to Origins and Valhalla where you can change your beard and hair (or with Naoe just hair) and maybe even tattoos (I know in feudal japan only criminals would have tattoos but Naoe being a assassin would definitely fit in the definition of criminal, and in the Ainu and Ryukyuan tribes the females would get tribal tattoos, I can’t speak for the Iga clan tho idk their laws

That sounds cool but I don't think Ubisoft would put that much thought into it. The hair lenght might just be related to story and progression, in the cinematic trailer Yasuke is attacking Naoe's village but during gameplay they're working together, maybe there's a time-skip of a couple years between those missions where their hair grows just to show they've aged slightly and worked together for a while.

I dont think we can change character during combat for in the scene the, after Yasukes Part who fought two guards on the ground and the guy on roof shot at him and the scene changed an Naoe charged at the guy on the roof the soldiers on the ground weren't involved in combat with Yasuke.

It’d be cool to be able to sneak around as Naoe and ask Yasuke to attack some armored guards to keep them busy/cause a distraction or charge in as Yasuke and have Naoe take out the ranged, out-of-reach enemies, but I doubt that’ll be the case, since it’d remove the incentive to try tackling it with the other character.

That legends dlc doesn’t count because it was short and most of the bosses were just spirits not yokai or monsters. Gameplay-wise, I tend to prefer stealth, agility, and being able to reach any part of the map and I like a lot of the stuff they’ve added for Naoe (like being able to swing with the rope, hang from the rafters, take enemies captive, and knock them out as an alternative killing them (I was worried they’d just ditch non-lethal takedowns altogether after Valhalla and Mirage)), but character-wise, I feel like I’d connect more with Yasuke, with his passion for justice and favoring mercy over revenge (and challenging the corrupt samurai who abuse their authority over the common folk head-on). He also just has a really cool and imposing aura. Storming in and proclaiming yourself “Justice” to a bunch of power-trippy bullies just feels very badass and heroic (albeit a little corny).

Forcing players to play as a certain character in order to get “better” combat and some puzzles/locations are locked behind a particular character is not cool. It’s clear this is DEI and they could’ve just had Naoe be a master assassin and be very good at combat as well.

They never said puzzles are locked behind a particular character, the developer just said Yasuke can pick up heavy objects and then Jor said (assuming) there likely will be puzzles in which you'll need to use the other character to complete them. Nobody said you won't be able complete a puzzle without switching characters, it might just be more difficult. There might not even be any puzzles that involve moving heavy objects, you never know. You took a 1min section of a 15min video and twisted it so much just to make Ubisoft look bad and complain about having to play as a black guy. Be better.
