Night rendering looks better than in the previous AC Games. Like night in AC Mirage looks like an overcast day, it's a complete joke. I still wish they'd make it darker (or give us the option to).

Creating the two protagonists to bridge the gap between old assassins creed gameplay with the new is honestly somewhat genius from Ubi. The woman protagonist actually showed expressive parkour with unique takedowns, whereas the guy showed a bit more of their recent combat style albeit still slowed down a bit. Which is good cuz Valhalla got arcadey as hell towards the endgame. I’m not even talking about the inhuman powers, but his general fighting style was just button mashing spam. Glad to see an attempt to return to form.

Ubisoft were always creative, it's just that their CEO got greedy and decided to pump out games without checking the reviews, and now he's paying the price for it with skull and bones. Let's hope their next AC games will redeem the terrible reputation for stealth that Valhalla and Odyssey brought.

The last 2 scenes of the trailer were Naoe backflipped off her enemy, and Yasuke impaled his enemy was basically Ghost Stance, and it looked great. Jin Sakai would be proud.

I already see people comparing Yasuke from this game to Jin Sakai. To see who would win. Most likely Jin of course but still it would be crazy to see. Unless they give Yasuke crazy feats too he wont be able to hang with Jin. Thing about Jin is he’s just as good at stealth as he is a fighter. Yasuke however trades stealth *for* fighting.

In my opinion they need to nail the gameplay the story 99% chance it’s mid to alright not like ghost of Tsushima but judging by the trailer they cooked naoe is fast agile and stealthy I was looking forward to playing her until i saw yasuke just destroy his gameplay for some reason gives me souls sekiro vibes so I pray that Ubisoft doesn’t fuck it up they’ve been on a good streak mirage xdefiant so hopefully they can keep going and cook up a good ac game

@LimmeLimbo Naoe is like the old school AC protagonists, and Yasuke is more like the RPG trilogy protagonists when it comes to gameplay. Jin Sakai is like the perfect blend in both character and gameplay and abilities.

​​@@braedenmacdonnell2256 From what i know you can freely choose which of the two you play at any given moment, including during missions and quests There are a few character missions and such that force you to play Naoe or Yasuke because they were made for the specific character Besides that tho you have 100% freedom of how you want to approach the game, full stealth, full agro, or a mix of both

a thought that crossed my mind is the throwing knives and stars, I think its going to be a tool mainly used to keep enemies at bay in combat like a stun tool on the other hand it could be an assassination tool, like how you can do a chain assassination in ghost of tsushima but instead you throw stars at the furthest enemy before doing the double assassination, can't really tell by the trailer

I think knives would be more used to cause bleed damage in combat while shuriken might be used to stun/slow enemies. I assume both could be used to put out lights.

My thoughts as well. Kunai are your classic assassin's creed throwing knife while shuriken are your quick action range attack to stun or interrupt an enemy during combat.
