as much as i agree unity is so far broken that even 60 fps 4k res wont "fix it" i embrace the game for its mechanics and apricate it but that won't be enough for most. i play pc and had 4k 60fps for years and i do love the game but its far from polished. i just wish Ubisoft would realize the short comings of that game and do a official remake that fully realizes what that game was always meant to be... but they won't.. big sad

If you have the disc, unity 1.0 unpatched has unlocked framerates so you can play it at 60fps. It just has all the other launch bugs tho

It’s 60fps on Series X but it’s really unfortunate PS5 never got it. Fingers crossed, black flag would be incredible to see at 60 on console too.

Everyone always talks about “AC 2 this” or “ACB that” or “AC Black Flag this”, but genuinely, Syndicate has always been my personal favorite. It was actually the first AC game I ever beat and I adore the Frye Twins and the London setting. It would be super hard to knock it off as my favorite at this point.

My only gripe with syndicate is the combat a long beat up animation for one person and if you get out of animation you have to do it all over again I much prefer unity combat

I'm going to give it a go, I've never finished syndicate. Back in the summer when the Olympics had just started I said that it was a missed opportunity to not give unity a 60 fps patch, hopefully fingers crossed that they're working on that too.

I JUST finished all of Syndicate a week ago smh. Now I have to download it again! Such a beautiful game tho with their current graphics. This is a great upgrade hope more people can appreciate it. The closest AC game to the nostalgic repeat value that AC2 offers you.

This should have been there a few years ago, but better late than never! Syndicate is an underrated AC Game, better than Unity in a lot of ways, I have a bias towards the Victorian British setting, which I felt was done reasonably well in this game, even if I am mixed on the overall light-hearted tone of it's narrative. Syndicate looks somewhat horrific playing at 30fps on the PS5, so this is very much welcome, as next year is the 10 year anniversary of the game too (jezz, I feel old saying that). I have a lot of nostalgia for this game as a teenager at the time. I remember the cinematic trailer using a remix of a Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds song.

I've been playing through the games on the series X and skipped syndicate for 2 reasons. 1) I'm pretty sure I'll really like it so I was saving it for when I get burnt out on the rpg games 2) waiting patiently for a 60fps patch. The wait seems to be over...

i hope this includes 60 fps material physics. one of my biggest gripes on pc was 30fps material physics with 60+fps. it was so jarring! thankfully there was a fix within the games .ini files but even current gen consoles cant do that.

Even Altaïr Chronicles was released after AC1 in February 2008, I want someone to celebrate these handheld titles. The only other games when two games that were released on the same day.
