And this is why Arno's story would be so interesting to keep seeing... Just like Altair he must have had a rise from the ashes, how did he found his call to service and how he finished dealing with Elise's dead (beyond Dead Kings storyline). For me, beyond Syndicate, ir was the end...

Arno: "I know how to stop the Templars!" Dumb woman: "You did too much to help us, get out!"
@holycrusader79653 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't call her nor them dumb. Arno did violate their terms but also violated one occasion for the greater good. But he never considered his consequences. One such occasion is the sequence where he took actions against La freniere without thinking twice. Because of that, not only he made his situation worse, he also risked the life of his lover, Elise. Just like Jacob Frye, he never considered his consequences right up until the end. The only reason why they kicked Arno out is because they're stuck in their ways. I can't blame them tho. It inspires loyalty, determination, and strong will. But sometimes, this so called loyalty can also cause problems. One such example is The Ghost of Tsushima where the uncle is stuck in his ways about 'honor' which then ultimately caused fatalities and consequences. Rather than call it, dumb, non sensical etc., I'd call it mediocre writing and a learning curve. This is ignored Character development. Arno should've a sequel, where he's older, wiser and have Leon as his apprentice.
@MrsJasmyn457 жыл бұрын
Without the mentor, you could already see them clashing for leadership. The entire creed was shaky to begin with, even with the mentor. They were all clamoring for power and the mentor held it all. The rest are very shady, when they kicked out Arno, it proved it.

Especially for a dad he barely even talked about.

The Council weren't entirely bad. Most had other commitments which prevented them from being active field Assassins: Mirabeau was a prominent leader in the revolution, Sophie Trenet was a playwright and essayist and Herve Quemar was a lawyer with gout and a heart condition. Arno's desire for personal vengeance was in contrast to the Creed so they felt they were acting in the Order's best interests. And a truce with the Templars was to ensure both could prevent the Revolution from spinning out of control. Plus, they did let Arno back in after he had proved himself true to the cause.

@thesecondromuluan82167 ай бұрын
Even then, the other Rites of the Order and Brotherhood were resistant to the idea at best, or considered it borderline heretical or foolish at worst. Just look at Bellec. Even Haytham Kenway considered peace between both organizations, but ultimately came to the conclusion that such peace was impossible.
@matthewlunde52704 ай бұрын
Yes try to make peace with the Templars. But its all a matter of who is in charge. The truth was with De La Serre. Germain was obviously meant to be grandmaster from the start. The fool De La Serre didn't realize there was a Sage within the order. And ultimately because of his imputince, he was eliminated. Same thing happened to Mirabue. Colluding with the king, the assassins, the national assembly, even the Templars. It's a wonder that he didn't die sooner. More so Bellec was right. Peace with the Templars a fairy tale. And yes the assassins had to purge their leadership more than once. Masyaf- Al Mualim. Monterrigoni- ?. The American Colonies- Achilles Davenport. Either way, who's the true villains and heros in this story when there are traitors always killing at eachother behind their master's backs?
@baronrichardharkonnen Жыл бұрын
I wonder if Arno would have become a Templar if Elise didn't die. Her father's faction in the order was on speaking terms with Mirabeau's faction of assassins. Arno only joined the assassins to get revenge on those who killed her father.

An assassin who was raised by the grand master of the Templars and fell in love with the master's daughter. He wants revenge not for his real father, but for the father that he loved almost as much as his real one. A coup within the Templar order. Not to mention that there's a Romeo-Juliet thing going on cause he's Assassin and his lover is a Templar. Unity had the best story in my humble opinion.
