Good work in the doors. I wonder if a hollow steel door could dampen shockwave propagation more if it were filled with sand. It'd increase the weight of the door a lot, but it would also add a bunch of loose inertia that would eat up pressure pulses so they wouldn't propagate as deeply down a tunnel. Put some axle grease on the hinges so they don't wear as quickly under the heavier load of the sand.

I can't say I 'enjoyed' the video but it as fascinating. I met the PKK once in south eastern Turkey. I knew it was possible because I had gone through some government check points prior. I was standing on a bridge near a village, headphones in and taking in the view. I was about to snap a shot on my camera when I realised there was a guy pointing a gun at me. The lens was wide angle so taking the camera away from me I noted he was somewhat nearer than he initially appeared. He was saying something to me then seemed to notice my bike up on the bridge before laughing and saying 'ah tourist!'. Next came the obvious question, 'chai?' :D Under the bridge they had some ammo and supplies. We drank chai together and I shared my pictures from my trip from Germany. They let me take their photograph before I went on my way. When camping in the area I'd hear gun fire in the distance. Not sure if it was a skirmish or a wedding. kurdish independence wouldn't be so important if their culture wasn't supressed. The language should be taught in schools for one. Like many countries in the region, Turkey is so ethnically diverse and rich, its why I love visiting there but the government doesn't embrace this view not to mention the propaganda taught in schools.

Depends. Turkey takes their sweet time with their objectives, so most of the time they'll abandon their frontline posts and gains in the winter. During the winter, thermals and drones don't really work well, meaning that they lose all of their advantage. These mountains are high and getting supplies is a problem for a force that doesn't have an air force to carry supplies. The cave shown in the video is well supplied, but same can't be said for all tunnels. They know which ones weak and attack accordingly. Remember what CD said in the video, they're constantly watching. It's pretty much evident by how some PKK fighters turn themselves in by the spring, showing signs of malnutrition. In that regard, it's impossible for guerilla fighters to maintain both frontline posts and existing corridors. They nicely soften everything up for the next assault. Apart from that, by assaulting infrastructures mentioned in the video, they force fighters to divert sources for rebuilding. Since winter labor isn't really an option, this attack will render this place unusuable for quite some time. When Turks come back in the spring, it'll be easier to recapture their previous gains and move the line further. They do this since 2019, and moved the frontline significantly over time. They know that their enemies don't happen to sit on infinite resources like they do. Counter-guerilla warfare is especially hard. What they're doing is that they don't play by the rules set by guerillas (as in all guerilla warfares), and turn the war into a war of attribution because they know that their enemies can't afford to keep up the fight like this forever. So, it's not an instance of assassination like mentioned in the video. Remember what he said. They always watch. There's absolutely no way that they mistakenly bombed an empty training center. They know who is who and what is what almost at all times. If it was an assassination attempt, it wouldn't be an attempt. There's a subreddit on Reddit called "syriancivilwar". It's plastered with Turkish assassinations by MIT (their intelligence) and their air force.

@SilverH1917 Жыл бұрын
TLDR: Syrian Civil War, Turkey, Assadist Syria, SDF(and affiliated groups), ISIS/L, Various anti-Assad groups Largely still classified under the Syrian Civil war. Who the combatants are and who they are fighting can at times be confusing but for the most part: Assadist government VS: SDF (Syrian Democratic Forces), ISIS/L, Various anti-Assad groups SDF+affiliated groups VS: Assadist regime, ISIS/L, Turkey ISIS/L VS: Assadist regime, SDF Turkey VS: Assadist regime, SDF

Okay. NATO was created to combat both Soviet and Soviet influence. After the dissolution of Soviets, NATO's existence was questioned by France and Germany. However, we learned that as long as there's a Russia with imperial ambitions, we still have our Soviets to fight. Plus, most European armies are pretty underequipped and not ready for war. That means most of the NATO will absolutely depend on active members with active armies. That means the US, Poland, Turkey and Greece. Nobody in the NATO joins and leads exercises as these 4 does. Whatever Jens tells the public, NATO isn't really about high morals and good intentions. They let dictatorships into the NATO, just because they were willing to fight Soviets. The mission of NATO isn't some humanitarian and political wonder to bless upon the world, despite what NAFO bros tell you. It's there to fight. Turkey, during 2015 shootdown of Russian jet showed that despite their closeness to Russia, they're willing to fight against them if they feel their or allies' sovereignty disrespected. The other members though, pulled their SAMs (mainly Patriots) out of Eastern Turkey in fear of escalation with Russia. Only exception to these countries were the US and Spain. In retalliation, Russians killed 34 Turkish soldiers in Balyun. NATO response? "Strong condemnations" towards Russia and continue of arms embargo on Turkey. Not even a new batch of embargoes on Russia. Again, remember that existence of NATO was questioned by Macron's France and Merkel's Germany. Merkel and Macron was hinting towards possible embargoes on countries that armed Ukraine after the 2014 Crimean Invasion. Now we see Thales, a French military tech company, on electronics of Russian tanks. Breaking their own embargoes against an enemy state, yet refusing the same on NATO member states. So, geography and moral bullshit goes to waste, but let's continue on that. The US ravaged wars upon wars in the Middle East. Yet, their only safe shore to Middle East lies on Turkey. Do you want to thrash all those civilian deaths and absolutely dunk on yourself? Because without Turkey, NATO and the US has to go either Iraq or Israel. Israel is surrounded by enemy states and the only way there is a very narrow sea passage. Iraq is basically Turkey's backyard at this point, as evident from the video. You also pushed them into working with Russia and Iran. You didn't had a nuclear state in the Middle East. Now you have 2 on top of Russia. Good job! Oh, I won't even mention Bosphorus. It's a Turkish/Russian lake now. Also, you might want to check on Operation Gladio. It was basically established to fight irregular Soviet influence, and despite what they tell you, Kurds still have a red book of their leader Apo. Does it remind you a person of similar traits, named Mao Zedong perhaps? After all these years, Op. Gladio's most and sole successful theatre is in Turkey. Yes, kick Turkey out of NATO and gift them NATO on your way out because NATO's command structure was established by actively fighting members. That only means Turkey and the US. And what do you know, this year's bidding on NATO encryption systems were given to a Turkish company. Brilliant idea! Glad that dumbass KZbin commenters hold no place in political life whatsoever, or the world would be fucked by people who watch NPC streams for fun.

Nope None whatsoever If the US have a better relation to turkey there could potentially be repercussions but no other NATO member will bring you infront of a court. The only way to get problems is by commiting heinous crimes (such as torture, murder,rape) but even then european countries are known to allow that behaviour from diplomats and non-service members. Just check the french foreign legion and look up who did what crime against humanity and how freely they move now.

The Turks are no strangers to genocide. Just like the rest of dominant regional powers, including our own Western nations. It's just that the Turks are still actively pursuing it. Hopefully they'll evolve beyond this modus operandi,
@humanizsm Жыл бұрын
In our history, i believe we did no genocide. People say we did it, but there is no much proof. Like a example; people say we did a armenian genocide but the thing is enver pasha actually killed the armenians did killed or harrased turks while turks did nothing. Our reason fighting ybs or ypg is because they are allies with pkk (basically it is pkk but syria) and in 90's pkk actually attacked turkish villages in east. They did killed woman, child, even kurds living there while they are "kurdish warriors". Since 90s Turkish goverment fights with pkk/ypg. So basically the ones did the genocide aren't us, go search it too. PKK did shot a teacher infront of his students because he refused to take down the turkish flag in turkish borders and they did roadblocks, killed every turk passed by (even kurds sometimes) , killed lawyers and people working for laws because they do work for turkey. Now do you understand why turkey does attacks pkk and ypg?
@trog7986 Жыл бұрын
@@humanizsmthe Turks have massacred Kurds and Armenians for centuries. The evidence is there, but your government call it lies and you swallow that whole. Go ahead and downplay it, but your nation and people have, are, and will continue to commit genocide. So long as the public like you ignore it and continue to support your dictator, you are a part of that genocide.
