I've been running DFA as assa in 7.2.5. My reasoning behind it is that toxic blade makes it viable and very very strong. It adds a lot to an already good burst and gives some mobility if used well. Definitely adds some more skill cap to the gameplay. I've been running this on 2k mmr with RMP. I don't see anybody doing this so I figured I could drop an hint here. Cheers all!

That definitely sounds like a fun way to go about things, I miss the old hard hitting DFA's. Might have to chekc this out

kallewarn oh great idea, i'll try it. But are you sure the toxic blade increasises dfa dmgs ?

it increases the envenom part but not the actual DFA part. Since DFA's damage is split up between the DFA and the empowered envenom that is. So it allows you to do big bursts.

Rupture Question: So When Starting the rotation from Stealth you Garrote then you Have to mutilate before Rupture??? I have been started a fight with all my points and dont need to mutilate, but my rupture wont hit unless I wait like 3 seconds after Garroting..What is that?? It's like 3 seconds I'm not doing Dmg.. Can anyone help?

Any tips for survivability? it seems like no matter what I do, I end up smeared on the floor soon after coming out of stealth. :/ and that's WITH a pocket healer. off topic: this made me miss my panda rogue. too bad I race changed her. may have to level anothet.

I've been just using Toxic Blade pretty much indiscriminately on whatever target I happen to be on, nearly on CD. Is this 'wrong'? Does this result is a big dps loss?

i suggest you envenom the target first, because it increases your poison application rate, which means more instant deadly poison damage, which gets buffed by toxic blade ^^

hey dal, i paused the video cause i thought hmmm.. he is providing just a build of talents. whats about if u are playing against Holy pally.. you wouldnt go toxic nor máster poisoner neither Venom Rush. you would prefer elaborate planning, alacrity, DFA or MoD. honor talent would change creeping venom for system shock

in your (melee) opener you didnt go over where to use toxic blade and kingsbane,ik its probly obvious when to but im new to assan rogue so im not sure when there good to use in my rotation and this is the only rogue spec i really am nub at XD id like to get better for arenas

Dillon Mckeon Use them together when you want to burst, I use them right after my oppener but since toxic blade has a lower cooldown you can use it more often in your rotation after lining up your DoTs

Ive read that you should envenom before poping kingsbane, so maybe full cp , envenom, vendetta-toxicblade-kingsbane-mutilate and envenom and then just rinse mutilate x2 > envenom in this time any char should be dead. Yeah I read that before, but it was part of PvE Rotations for Assass off of Icy Veins. Its probably helpful to line up in PvP, but I don't think it makes much of a difference in the long run. All you are doing is making sure Artifact Weapon is befitting from that 15% damage increase from poison applications.
