What makes you fan of knives more than anything? Is it quicker combo points no matter what? I never typically think to use it. Is it something you use over mutilate all the time?

With my talents when there are enough targets it deals more overall damage, gives more CPs and is cheaper than Mutilate. If you want to cleave and you don't risk breaking CC, it's good !

Super cool build & gameplay. Managed to hit 2k1 with it. Force a trinket early with a kidney/kingsbane and 1min later kidney/smoke/kingsbane/deathmark combo while everyone is over dot'd. I am always top dps in my lobbys. Is this build viable in 2v2 ? With the recent patch, looks like no one can oneshot anymore ; it's better to take feint buff rather than cheat death imo! Keep it up!

I don't think this build is as good in 2v2 because there aren't many targets to DoT. Instead of the Fan of Knives talents, Crimson Tempest and Carnage you should go for Bone Spike and other single target talents. You still DoT both enemies, but one by one.

As a pve rogue I’m so used to having my HP in the middle, are you looking at your hp on the top left or on the party frames?

I find myself looking more at party frames than at my own health. It actually confuses me sometimes in Shuffle when I am paired with another Rogue ! Here is my UI: pastebin.com/zwHKgmvp The weakauras are all simple ones that you can make in a few clicks. New Aura > Premade Auras (at the very top) > Icon > whichever size you want > whichever buff you want in the list.

Love your videos so much! Two questions: 1.) what addons do you use? I really love your setup. Having trouble tracking things like trinket and who’s stunned on my ui right now. 2.) would you use the cleave builds in 2’s or just the raw single target damage build? You’re the best!!!

SArena, Omnibar, OmniCD, Diminish and BigDebuffs. I have a quick section in which I talk about that in my most recent guide! As for 2s I wouldn't play the Carnage/Crimson Tempest build as there are not enough enemies for it to be valuable. You would still cleave, but by applying your bleeds to both enemies one by one. And instead of the AoE talents you'd pick Bonespike (and the talent above) as well as Venom Rush !

Congratz on the rank 1 and thank you for the great videos! I wonder how your Kingsbane crits for 311k. I use your build, have 29% vers, 42% mastery, 28% crit and my max crit was 100k. Yes I have half green gear, but it can't make a 3x differece, can it?

Mastery is a big deal. There's also when you use Kingsbane. I always use it with Dance, Tea, Badge and Shiv active, so it's a lot of buffs for Kingsbane. And finally, if you hit it when someone is below 35%, it deals 30% more damage as well.

@@SicariusGaming87 You pick these talents into any comp that will allow you high cleave damage, which is what Assassination is the best at. So, since enemies are supposed to be close by for Carnage to work you can pick FoK talents yo build CPs with it rather than Mutilate. If there are 3 or more targets it is more damage and more generated Combo Points for a cheaper energy cost. Then, since you should be using FoK a lot and Mutilate only when there is one single isolated target or when you burst someome down, Venom Rush is rather useless.

In your guide u speak very well, maybe u consider doing voice overs instead of writing it down. So we can focus on your gameplay and hear the thoughts instead of moving our eyes outside the „action“ to see what u wrote.

I've been told that several times, and I understand. I simply like to do it this way. You can choose to look at the arena game, or the game + the tips without being forced to have the voiceover. And also, it takes a lot more time to prepare a good voice over, and edit the audio afterwards :p

In 3s Outlaw has better comps, and is overall a better spec but Assa remains good. In Shuffle I'd say both specs are rather even because while Outlaw is overall better Assa is very strong when dampening ramps up, and it ramps up very quickly in Shuffle. And if you are interested in 2s then Outlaw is way better.

I play like most people I think, left hand on the keyboard, right hand on the mouse :p I use the keys from Q to T, A to G, W to N, and 1 to 5, and most of them have modifiers with ctrl, shift and sometimes alt. Couple things bound on the mousewheel too.

Hi, you use Deathmark and Kingsbane in different times. Is this normal or your style? Generally, I use them both in a single macro, which sometimes feels me naked when something goes wrong. I plan to change my way of playing 😇.

Every 2 min you get them both as your big go. Use kingsbane on its own when deathmark on cooldown as your mini go 👊🏼

I use them at different times unless I know this is likely to result in a kill. When you use either Dance + Kingsbane or Deathmark people usually use defensive cooldowns. You don't really want the defensive cooldowns to catch both your offensive ones. For instance, if I face a Holy Paladin I know he is likely to use BoP on Deathmark, so I can use Deathmark to get a BoP, and then try to kill with Shadow Dance and Kingsbane. Alternatively, I can try to kill someone with Dance and Kingsbane, if I am going to be successful the Paladin will BoP to save his ally, and then I can Deathmark while he cannot use his second BoP. Stuff like that !

He plays with 2 PvP trinkets, just no medallion. Either Honor Insignia + Conquest Insignia, or Badge + Insignia. Check him !

I use the AoE build more often. It deals more damage, and in Shuffle that's rather important.
