nah its simple as Ezio faced the same thing , with the only difference Ezio realizing that those people are talking to him but are talking to a long relative of Ezio. That will happen too in the upcomming AC with Bayek learning more about them and the future but i am really intriged on how they are going to plan this out.. They did what they did with Ezio and by repeating that will annoy a lot of people.

The fact is that it’s talking to Layla or whatever her name is directly...it’s not talking to Bayek at all. Bayek don’t know anything about anumis(however you say it) the only person who knows about it is Layla. So basically the first civilization talking to her thru Bayek memories. It’s just my little opinion don’t go shitting on it.

On the wikia, its stated the Isu, used some kinda of super calculator or something in the form of quantum computing, and it created simulations that they could see. However these weren't technically simulations because they were actually happening, just centuries into the future. So when Minerva and Juno and Jupiter are talking to you, they aren't exactly recording themselves. They are directly talking to the modern day descendant, as if they were in the room with them. So to them, they are still alive, but to the modern day character they are long dead. Kinda like the Tesseract scene in Interstellar, where he controls the book case, same idea.

The Isu are said to line in the Permian era of time(where in our reality is known to be uninhibited by human life. Their world came to an end the Isu are Juno Jupiter and Mirnerva. These higher beings made humans to serve and build their monuments,temples, and vaults, from what ive gathered these are recordings for Layla (modern time player character) just like the Mirnerva reordering Ezio found that were for Desmond to hear via the Animus sessions but these are...very different and vague more like lectures from some classes of philosophy

since brotherhood that I have been waiting for a game that allowed us to relive memories of the isu era. waiting for eva's blood as 16 said in his message to desmond. in the black flag trailer I saw the blood vial and I was sure that finally we were going to relive eva's memories, but of course that wasn't going to happen. so far the only thing we have actually witnessed was the toba catastrophy. nothing more. and it seems we will never even be close to have the freedom to act in the real world, just relive memories and at best explore the small locations where our animus is.

the only one i kind of understand is the one in this video. it's a reference to Plato's "allegory of the cave". (mentioned at 2:25 in the video) it's a story where people in a cave only ever see shadows of objects on a wall and think that is their reality and at the end they leave the cave and find the "truth", the real objects that were only projecting shadows. but the difference in the holographic image is that the projections are caused by a member of the first civilization using a piece of eden. also the number sequence in the top left 1 1 2 5 8 13 is a fibonacci sequence. don't understand the connection though.

I dont think Bayek can hear these recordings though. Or if he even came across them in the first place. Its quite evident because the narrator is prompting the user( in this case Layla) to question the reality provided by the animus. It leads to the idea that these recordings are likely to be stored within the animus and Layla had access to them by spending way to much time in there. Plus, if you hear other segments, they talk about events that happen in 2012 for exaple, and thats impossible for the first civilization to know the far future.

Chris E. Actually the First Civilization knew every possible future. There were near infinite possible futures, but they used their advanced technology to reach out and find the future that would actually happen. In doing this Minerva was able to talk directly to Desmond at the end of AC 3 as if they were together in the same room even though Minerva had been dead for 75,000 years.

yeah, the first time in the series that we saw it in action was when Ezio got into the vatican vault at the end of AC2 and found the message from Minerva intended for Desmond, who would relive Ezio's memories hundreds of years later.

Using the peices of eden they can see an outcome of what will happen if they do certain things. So they basically went through all the possible futures leaving msg that offered the most likely chances for success. They didnt know that juno was secretly plotting aswell which makes for the modern day story
