I haven't read the Last Descendants books, but I thought that those modern day characters were a very cool part of this comic. I hope Ubisoft makes more use of those characters as I would be interested to see more of them and their possible interaction with other modern day characters. I also agree that this comic seemed kind of expendable and unimpactful in regards to overarching lore, but it was enjoyable despite that. Side note: I am glad you looked deeper into Ezio's timeline (the AC Wikia is a fantastic source) and defended your claim that Ezio training two more assassins was weird - that was something that irked me to no end in Homecoming.

I agree the art was more unnecessary than stylistic, great to see characters like Natalia come to life. The Henry and Evie thing could have been replaced with different assassins. It just feels like there trying to tie in the games to the books. And as for the box i appreciate their attempt to create new POE because there was a wide variety of different technology like the ring that creates force fields. Anyway the box itself does feel more like "plot device" box than a necessary part of the story

Bit of a pointless story. didnt advance the modern day story at all, and the past was bit messy with the Fryes' timeline.
