Fast to build, nice utility, a reasonable budget for cortium/certs, and lots of room for extensibility. Great base design!

First corium bomb goes between the repair module and pain field. I would swap the positions of repair and skywall modules.

Looks like the kind of base i'd build expecting other random peopple to add stuff to it and not caring if they did. Looks fit for the job if the initial sunderer push is taken out I think

Question: what's the point of the bunker? I was always under the impression that bunkers should never be built

The bunker is to only be used if you got plenty of defenders hanging around. But when pop drops the builder should delete the bunker. The point of it is to give defenders a little more wiggle room from pushing out from the assault base as well as allow them to change classes.

I like the idea of a forward base rather than sundy. I'm not sure why the dev don't explore the idea. Sundy is just too weak as a spawn point for the attackers.

No I just know I've been doing my tunes in a similar fashion in pillboxes for 2 years and have yet to get stuck so I must be stupidly lucky though I have gotten stuck on the mods under the pathway

What does overcharge actually do to the module and is it permanent?

overcharge cast a overshield over all structures for 30 sec while also triggering a 60 sec cool down. During the activated phase all structure are indestructible till the shields drop and you can usually cover a whole base by 2 overlapping structure shields thus allowing you to pop one after the other runs out thus making your structures nearly unbreakable.

@@ThomasPOV Yeah the textures are stored separately from the models as for where they are I'm still a bit lost to that. Hence why you see me color everything in a basic color pallet.

The bunker is optional and only for when you got a decent defending pop. Then the builder is suppose to remove it whenever their pop drops. The goal of adding the bunker here was to give defending infantry just a bit more cover for pushing out while also maybe using the terminal. I had been desperately trying to find uses for the thing but it truly is a horrible model, that helps attackers more than defenders

Bases are mostly pointless, when a tank deathball comes in, no matter what you build gets demolished in same 4 minutes.

You do realize a proper base covered by 2 overlapping structure shields is basically shell proof thus forcing players to leave their armor and attack the base on foot right?

@@theDemolisher13 you do realise that 1 orbital disables this shield, two orbitals delete the base. Outfits have orbitals that are not tied to any base and can be called anywere. I've seen better bases deleted in seconds. Prowlers can shell this base from miles away, turrets can be deleted by just two fully crewed tanks, tested that, repair module wont be able to overwrite the damage, engies will die if they go out to fix it. On foot you have two outer walls not covered by pain field and a large choke point for HESH tanks to farm your infantry. Go play on Cobalt with this base, check how long it will survive.

@@srg.graphouni6628 Let's see a good base will waste the enemy's time as it can take awaywhere from 2 mins to 2 hours to destroy all depending what the enemy is willing to throw at it, with pocket OS, air balls, & Bastions all being the death sentence with no real counters which isn't constructions fault just bad game design. But even still usually you'll be able to rebuild that exact base in the same spot in about 15 to 30 mins thus making it that you used up enemy resources to destroy a less valuable target. I would call that a win and if they chose to ignore you friendlies could always use you as a rear spawn and hit the attackers from behind thus forcing them to deal with the base if they want to make any real progress.
