PJ, their behaviour is unprofessional and totally unwarranted. I would report the incident of assault and attempted theft, to the Police. They need to, learn they cannot act as they did with impunity. The CEO and senior management should be informed, they had a potential lawsuit on their hands, not to mention the bad publicity . Thanks to the two individuals resorting to thuggish behaviour . I think the CEO and senior management would appreciate being made aware of the incident to put, in place a policy to prevent any further occurrences by their employees.

Love the first guy's exceptionally deep suspicion, actually seeing the paranoia and worry is so good. How he thinks his company is a sensitive site, and in reality, nobody cares a jot. he mentions "we don't know what you're going to do with that information".....well as far as I could see both cameras captured a combination of glass, cladding, concrete, shubbery, paintwork, well known lorries and not much else. Police probably won't do anything or at best do some investigation, charge the guy and then issue a NFA. A better course of action would be to take out a civil suit against Great Bear. HNK solicitors are ones used by many auditors for claims against the police. However, many other solicitors will happily take on such a case on a no-win, no-fee basis - because the compensation you can ask for will make it worth while for them. Because of the actual physical assault, the claim could go into the many hundreds of pounds if not a grand.

Around 10 years ago whilst I was stopped on a red light, I had a GB artic driver stop his truck along side me, open his cab door and threatened to drag me from my car simply because I had shuck my head at the speed he had just shot through the lights, nearly turning over the truck in the process. I reported him to GB and received an apologetic response from the company.

They do not have any powers. They have the same powers as you and me. Under common law. Which means that they can only do a citizens arrest for indictable (jail sentence) offences. And for anything else, such as trespass they cannot use force unless the situation requires it and it is necessary, reasonable and appropriate to protect others or property. Common law requires minimum force to be used when necessary to ensure that the situation doesn't escalate and for the defence of self-defence not to be raised.

I called great bear and asked how I was able to make a complaint as I was shocked to see their staff acting like thugs on KZbin. The bloke who answered said he was aware of it and hung up the phone rapidly. I hope they get sacked

PJ, sorry to see you assaulted in this video. Same thing happened to my brother and I, whilst out filming with our Mini2’s, quite legally of course. Reported incident to Police, but they weren’t the slightest bothered. PC plod stated that as we are brothers, we could not be witnesses for each other to the assault! Never heard such trash in my life. Plod said they had more important things to do. A letter will be sent to his Chief Inspector this week.
