I like the fact that you point out the pros and cons (none) of the crank you use and recommend.

i mean.. the discussion never started... so if you're up for it, then ill phrase the question like this: why is oil volume at the bearings a bad thing? (yeah this is loaded as fuck i know but its intentional to get the conversation going :D it's all good between brothers right?)
@jedifrost3 жыл бұрын
Do you cover clearances in a different video or just throw standard sized bearings in and send it? I see so many videos where they don't address/discuss this.

Y7 block y7 crank speedfactory long rod and vitara 75mm pistons. Stock bore gives you thicker cyclinder walls but arnt always true in bore but I'm just gunna send er ayyy!!!!

Terry Larry factory specs for vitaras, if that helps you at all. They aren’t forged pistons, therefore don’t need extra space for expansion

so for assembly lube, i thought it not supposed to be appliy on cylinder walls because the ring will not scrape it off the walls

You're only supposed to use it on the bearing surfaces. Use motor oil for that process.

@@Autosauce I am looking more for normal with normal fuel... I was hoping for at least 160 to 177 hp would be Awesome. Is that realistic without to much stuff done to it? Porting and polishing putting on Vitara pistons, better intake, better Exhaust manifold etc... and tuning! Anything over 145 with Vtec would be Great! Right now I have a D15B7 106 hp.

I came across this video while looking for turbo suzuki vitara builds. Are the pistons that he's using suzuki ones? Ive never heard of this before. I know a d16 is a 1.6 honda but are the pistons from a g16b 1.6 suzuki engine?

Am I able to use a block guard using 91 pump gas?
@Hoovnuts20105 жыл бұрын
Yes. This is to keep the cylinder walls from rocking under high rpm load. If you install one have the block honed after this process because it could change the clearances if you wait till afterwards.

I don’t know if I would advice putting grease on the back side of the Thrust bearings. Never supposed to grease the back side of a bearing…
@Autosauce3 жыл бұрын
You use grease to hold it in place when you’re installing the crankshaft.
@hudsonbrotherstruckaccesso91223 жыл бұрын
@@Autosauce oh I totally got why you did it, just saying that’s not a good practice to get into. That’s the same as greasing the back side of a main bearing or rod bearing. Always put grease on the riding side of a bearing, not the back side

I'm surprised more people don't use a single cams out of the Accord... I think it's the F22. There's a bunch of them. they're cheap and nobody wants them. The cylinder heads flow a bunch.. cheap power and alittle bit of toque.
@BoostedPastime2 жыл бұрын
The cost of a B to H/F kit is very high. The only cheaper way would be using a conversion kit that uses the H/F transmission. It is very expensive which is why few people do it.
