I’m going to agree with these posts. My kit came without instructions, and the video is not very good. For a thousand bucks I expected a more user friendly experience.

So I purchased this item and assembled it yesterday/ The item is great and it does what it promised. But! This video doesn't help at all. Man, you designed a great product, please hire someone to make a normal video for you. It's a nightmare. Multiple times in the video you mention you need to put this bolt on this side and the camera is showing the ceiling. Also, label the bolts and give them a name or number so people can understand easier which one to use. This product is more difficult to build than a jeep itself and mostly because of your useless video. It needs to be much more detailed. You forgot many steps during the assembly and I had to figure out it myself. Also, I understand the shipping costs, but you could also consider assembling it more than sending a bunch of pieces. Not everyone has all the tools needed. I had to drive 3 times to home depot to get the stuff. And don't forget that this item is 1000 dollars and is not cheap at all you could make it much better. Anyway, thank God, at least it works.

I know right. I'm clueless right now. I ended up hooking up my old harbor freight winch to take my top off because I didn't want to waste a Saturday messing with this garbage video.

Sounds like none of us got a manual. Ironic given his emphasis on reading it at the beginning. I got near the end and when installing the brake, the brake wire came out of the handle. This lead to my ensuing line going too far into the silver piece and now it’s stuck. I can’t get the tension line to have actual tension. I’m no handyman but I have done my fair share of Jeep installs. This was/is the most frustrating so far.

Only improvement to the video is you should share what bolts you’re using. Otherwise it’s trial/error and guess if you’re just watching the video

Mine didn't come with a manual so I downloaded the PDF file and that is about as useless as taking a guess on how to put together. This video helped me a great deal and went together super easy. Now trying to find a video for the rest of the process. Links to that should be in the description or comments. I got mine on a Black Friday deal for $700. Sorry y'all paid $1000 lol.

Me with no tool experience, no instructions included, using this video now , then ask me to connect the two 8 in rods to connect the parts using “the bolt” i have 40 bolts here, i think i know which bolt to use but i shouldn’t be guessing.

I read these comments and others about how awful this instruction video was... and I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt. Watched the video and thought "Eh, it looks pretty straight forward." Wellll then I actually started the assembly process. Holy cow, this is the absolute worst instructional video from a creator of a product I've ever seen. Descriptive instructions like "Take this and place this here and then this goes right there" all while the camera focus is going in and out. Nevermind emphasizing the orientation of certain parts which are absolutely essential in successfully completing the assembly. Also, "Take this tube w/ 2 holes, one hole on each end..." I don't have that piece in my kit. I have one that has a hole on each end, but it also has one hole in the middle, which is different than what you're showing in the video. Crosses my fingers and hope it'll still work. "Make sure you read the manual first! We have changed a few steps." Well, mine didn't come w/ a manual. Dude, you charge a grand for this product. Pay some kid that knows how to make an assembly video a few hundred bucks and let them do it right.

Horrible videos, no instructions and it's a shame because the product is decent. The side bars flex too much and should be made of more sturdy pipe or have bolt on braces

Why is this the only vid for this assembly!? Absolute garbage! Which way does that supposed to point, which nut and bolt is being used? I figured it out but damn that was rough! Also, mine didn't come with the directions either.

I found the assembly to be very easy… IF you have a general knowledge of mechanics and a decent tool collection
