The handbrake doesn't work for me at all, how can I get someone to fix this???

Just take an Allen wrench and loosen the ones that hold the end of the wire. Pull the wire through until it's tight and then tighten the Allen screws.

I don't think I installed my lift properly. Getting the break pressure right was tricky. I was too scared to lift it higher than half an inch. 😢

I bought mine in 2019 and it doesn’t have the adjustment screw for the brake.

Yeah, just throw that bit about the bolts in the section after you needed to know about it. Maybe that needed to go in part two when I was cursing about the odd ball bolt. And where the hell it goes.

After reading all the comments I've determined that about 85% of you should go back to 1st grade and start over if you can't follow these INCREDIBLY SIMPLE instructions.

I can not believe how terrible this product and designers are about how the hell to build it. I have 4 extra black poles - sure would be nice to know what they are. I’m supposed to trust this thing holding my hardtop when I don’t even know half of the instructions I’m pissed I spent over a grand for this. Even if it works perfectly (which who knows I’m too scared to try) the lack of a manual, video with correct terminology and gee wouldn’t it be nice to SEE WHAT YOURE DOING. Also way to toss it in at the end oh hey these bolts yeah they go here. Dissatisfied is an understatement

My brake came the opposite of what I see in this video

Really disappointed they can't just send instructions. The PDF link is not helpful at all. These videos made it a breeze. Got mine put together and working perfectly with no troubles. Now if winter would just go away so I can actually use it lol.

There are two black bar extensions for 4 doors only. There is a plunger and two small bolts with washers and end caps that are no longer needed per the paper instructions.

Yes, quite frustrating at times. Better camera angles and bolt details and where they go. You simply tell us to place a bolt here and a bolt there. Ok, well which bolt? Long? Short? Kinda long? Kinda short? Lastly, the entire lever assembly instructions were poorly done. That was by far the most frustrating section. All in all, not terrible, but not good either. It will take you longer than it should.
