One thing US can do, to be at par with China and Russia, is to strengthen its military ties with Its NATO and ASEAN allies. As of now, it seems only Japan and South Korea are the only allies who will fight side by side with US. US should see to it that all its allies will act like Japan and South Korea.

It has overthrown or attempted to overthrow dozens of foreign governments since 1949 and has actively sought to crush nearly every single people’s liberation movement over that same period. These are politicians talking about military issues. The United States military is always two steps ahead of our enemies. The semiconductor ban on China, Russia, Iran and North Korea is a perfect example. We need military grade semiconductors for our advanced military equipment (fighter jets, missiles, satellites, tanks and see on). That is why Russians are stealing Ukrainian washer machines, for the semiconductors inside them.

The Navy’s Big Carrier Groups Are Sitting Ducks Can the top brass admit how much we have spent on fleets that are now obsolete? The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman departs with its strike group toward the Middle East from Naval Station Norfolk, “The Shrinking U.S. Navy” (April 5) focuses on the number of ships that the U.S. Navy is commissioning and retiring rather than their capability. The inconvenient truth is that our Navy has 12 carrier groups and all are now obsolete. The Chinese have developed an antiship ballistic missile (ASBM), the DF-21D, nicknamed the “carrier killer.” It has a range of 1,200 miles and can fly at speeds higher than Mach 5. During descent to the target, it can fly at Mach 10. That’s like launching one in Chicago and hitting the Statue of Liberty three minutes later.

It might get a lot older. The U.S. Navy is considering extending the service life of all its ships by at least seven years, and could stretch the life of some ships by 13 years, according to Naval Sea Systems Command. It also means most active ships could be as much as 53 years old.Arleigh Burke destroyers to 45 years and the Flight IIAs to between 46 and 50 years. It also proposes cruisers could be extended to between 42 and 52 years; littoral combat ships to between 32 and 35 years, up from 25 years; and the amphibious assault ships to as long as 53 years.

Okay bot. Russian or Chinese? If Russian, take a look at you're two flagships: One, the Moskva, has been converted into a submarine, and the other, the Admiral Kuznetsov, is out of commission, and when it does sail, it needs tug boats to escort it to carry it back to port! As for China, We've got enough aircraft carriers to dedicate 4 to destroying one Chinese carrier, without taking into account "pocket carriers," of which we have an additional 9. Each of which is defended by a fleet comparable in power to the entire Chinese Navy. Whoever you are, go ahead and attack us and see for yourself how poorly it will turn out for you!!

America was ready. America sat on the sideline watching the Allies+ Soviets fight Germany and Japan. Then US blockade the oil supply to Japan revealing US was not neutral so Japan retaliate by sneak attacking Pearl Harbor, which was actually a setup by US to justify war with Japan. Remember if the US was not ready, why were they building the Atomic bombs? It was all part of US plan to come at the end when all the fighting was over to drop 2 Atomic bombs on Japanese cities (civilians) and claim the credit for winning WW2 when it's Soviet that march into Berlin and took out Hitler. The Soviets actually killed 80% of the Nazis.
