idk if people talked about this, but when it shows the m4 csl it is blue. however the real car can only be purchased in white, gray, or black. so that means that there is probably customization for the colors beyond the manufacturers colors

iRacing is for highly serious competitive racing. Assetto Corsa can do that, but barely anybody uses it for that. The chill driving in street cars is just way more fun to me :D

Assetto Corsa DESPERATELY needs an option to add basic performance upgrades to their street cars. I'm talking proper tires, brakes, and coilovers mainly. They have a few "Step 2" versions or whatever, and while I like the street cars, most of them just aren't set up for a race circuit which comprises the entirety of the location content. If I'm taking my car to a track, I'm not doing it on a set of all seasons. And dedicated track cars are getting basic upgrades. This is one reason the mod content has been so popular.

0:41 Awesome investigation of game trailer locations! 2:30 I REALLY, REALLY hope there will be option to visually mod, tune our cars that I HOPE will be buyable in some immersive carrer mode. Also mechanical tunings and parts swap. All this on top on realistic simulator like Assetto Corsa. Sadly there are people that have weird mind set about this idea and they think that such features belong to childish arcade games like NFS or Forza Horizon (I do not play such games as I hate arcadey handling of cars and laughable to no penalty for crashing) I hope there will be more (optional) harsh damage to vehicles in AC EVO and part damage like radiator damage resulting in spilling coolant out and engine overheating. Damage to tire and rim and possibility to damage it from careless driving and obviously even complete detachment of wheel in stronger collisions. I will love to see option to turn on/off engine. Cold start and warm start. As far as I know no game ever tried that. I mean warm and cold start as separate thing depending on car engine temperature. This would be such awesome detail! I would really want this game to EVOlve into awesome toy for grown up car enthusiasts not only for teenagers who want to race and race and race 🤮 I really love that there may be free roam option and special tracks AND map moding tool added to game‼‼ I loved in AC time attack with points! With open road maps it would be awesome to play! I spent so many hours in AC in this mode! I love it!

Kunos have seen that a great deal of their demographic are not only racing online, which is great news I think. AC1 is almost a second life simulator at this point. If ACE has all the same functionality & more then the only hurdle is content. If it drives/looks & performs better than AC1 everyone will flock there. I'm nervously optimistic, free-roam is great but I don't want open world game elements forced on me, and I hope for a solid progression based career mode such as Project Cars 2 (though I can live without it). I've got a lot of confidence in Kunos to deliver an excellent driving experience though. I still have no idea what ACE actually is, I'm excited to find out. There's some wild speculation out there, I hope Kunos release some more details soon.

Recently I realised I’m getting tyred of competitive sim racing pressures so taking it easy. I realised I’m secretly want to drive freely something possible like in Grand turismo. Freeroam - that would be amazing. Apart from Nordschleife best tracks I like in Assetto Corsa is Black cat country (long) and other long imaginary track in Wales/Scotland. Just want to drive man you understand.

I'm looking forward to it's release too Misha, AC is still my favourite today after all these years, all the other sims seem to come and go but AC, that sim is part of my DNA now with many thousands of hours put into it since it's release. It would be nice to have something as simple as the ability to choose between left and right hand drive cockpit layouts, something usually considered normal within motoring today which strangely, isn't currently used/an option in the sim racing/driving world. I'm in the UK where we drive on the right side but I actually prefer the left hand drive layout of cars and my rig is set up as a left hooker, how strange is that lol..
