Sumit Singh. Registry means that you have to get your sale deed registered. Technically sale deed or registry are same and that's the final ownership document. Hope, you've subscribed. Some great content is lined up :)

Nice explained sir.....but if seller is having a loan on property then what is the process in that case? What is the role of banks if buyer is taking a loan?

Thank you, if the seller is having a loan on the property then the seller first needs to obtain a letter from the bank with which the property is mortgaged, stating that the bank agrees to relinquish the property documents after the full and final payment of the loan.

Great set of videos by assetyogi. Brilliant. One important question - It seems on the day of registry the complete money does not change hands. Generally the registration is done. Then the bank loan actual money from buyer to seller happens around 1 or 2 weeks later once the bank recieves the sale deed registered . What happens if registration done but buyer does not get the final home loan disbursed ? Registered done but payment not completed. How is the seller protected ?

Under Section 54, you can invest the LTCG made from sale of an immovable property, in a residential property.... At 10:39 sale deed registration within 4 months from date of signing. Here registration is at the sub registrar's office? And is buyer supposed to get it registered or both buyer and seller after signing of the documents?
