Aur vo bhi koi chhota amount nhi 35-75 lakh ki rishwat lgti hai. Tb ye salary milti hai. Normal person to private me hi try karega na. Uski salary slip dikhao na. Aap bhi Kamal krte ho. Do you know any credible entities that has conducted studies in these matters, any legitimate sources that showcase the findings? 1. What percent of all the PhDs(especially from humanities ) don't get Asst Prof job at all? What percent do get jobs in 1 to 2 years? What percent right away after completion of PhD ? [ Each Year] Now that you mention , 2. What has been the total number of vacancies (per year)all across India and within each of its state in the recent years ? Regarding the 1st question all I could find was an article that analysed and broke down NSF ( America based) data.For instance around the year 2011 in humanities only 48% got jobs,10 % got post doc , whopping 42% got nothing. And the whole analysis suggested in no uncertain way that it was only getting worse. I could find no legitimate sources pertaining to the same matters in India at all. Being well informed in advance is very crucial for navigating a career path and most don't seem to care.You seem frustrated about these problems.I wonder if you could refer me to sources regarding all I have said. And sorry, if it got too lengthy .

It's not same for all subjects I will be taking admission next year as I will be jrf qualified in computer science and after P.hd there are lakhs of private engineering college in which I can easy get a highly paid job.. So, yeah it depends on subjects which are in demand
