Astarion disguised as shorter races but he doesn't like it

i’m so confused. i didn’t get the point the video was showing. and the video description (at the time of this comment) left me just as confused

You can use disguise self as any character, but specifically with Astarion and specifically with short races, he transforms into taller versions of them. I just happened to find a weird glitch in the dialogue option "hello my dear" where he shrinks mid-greeting.
