Astel opened his membership today so I did my best to upload this today! Congrats Astel 🎉 Note: He was mostly joking throughout the clip, he sometimes talks like this with his viewers, he wasn't being rude to them! Note 2: About the flaming thing, he joked about behaving like Goku and not taking flamings seriously. The "I killed someone, my bad" was smth Goku would say. Then a viewer said "I can use dragon balls to get revived" because getting flamed can mean the end (the death) of your career. So it was basically them taking flamings lightly (Uni got me good, sorry for not doing much lately ; ;)

Listen to more Japanese. You don't learn from translations. :)
@craftK983 жыл бұрын
@@Asdayasman tbh it actually help me. after watching lots anime, i did able to understand some of the jp stream context. but don't expect anime will help you a lot coz at first it's around 40% coz they have their own slang like kansaiben ,their own internet slang and other which is why we need to rely on some clips too. after watch tons of it adapt it and you'll able to understand some parts which probably around 60-70%. but i'm not asking everyone to do this if you guys are not auditory learners so try some other media too if possible like duolingo or have a proper educator to teach you how to write as well.Now i'm on that auditory level so after this pandemic ends i might as well get an educator/ teacher to teach how to write next time
@Asdayasman3 жыл бұрын
@@craftK98 Please don't become an educator before learning how it works. What you describe is actually incorrect. If there are translations in a language you understand available, your mind will continue to filter out the language you're trying to acquire. Duolingo is trash because it gives you multiple choice and also introduces you to language solely out of context. You don't learn to speak a language from duolingo, you learn to speak duolingo. It's not useful. "Proper educators" in schools have been notoriously terrible at understanding how language acquisition works. They teach it like it's maths by giving you number sets (vocabulary) and formulas (grammar) and then lie to you saying you'll be able to produce language. "Auditory learning" is not a thing. Let's for a moment ignore that the segregation of "types of learner" is completely incorrect, it's _doubly_ incorrect for language. The human brain has a large section of it dedicated entirely to the understanding of language. The only thing it needs is enough comprehensible input, and it will become fluent. That's how babies do it, and it doesn't change for adults. Literacy is also entirely unneeded for language acquisition. You can't read and write a language befor you know what it means - you're just making the shapes. Children learn to speak at a reasonably high level before they learn to read and write. They're fluent before they enter school. Literacy is important to function as a person in a society, but as a language learner, unless you have input in that language that's only available in written form in which you're particularly interested, it's a waste of time to try and brute force it before you're good enough at listening. If you want to know more, (and as an aspiring educator, you should do), look up Stephen Krashen's texts on the topic. If you prefer youtube videos, check out What I've Learned and Matt VS Japan's videos on the subject.

@@Asdayasman well if you say so..those are just my personal opinion though bcoz it really did help me ngl. Also almost forgot that i'm only focusing on learning languages not other aspect like science and math coz those method won't help you getting anywhere. this is why learning is something abstract so for languages any method is possible for anyone to learn.

(Sorry I'm gonna go on a little rant) I think one of the reasons why I like Astel a lot is because I can relate to him. I feel like I'm kind of like him too..? I mean it's hard for me to accept compliments because I feel like I don't deserve them at all or like they're lies, but seeing someone else doing it makes me see that it's pretty frustrating.. I mean I really do think that Astel is amazing, but he himself can't accept that, and it just leaves me wondering if that's what I look like to other people..? Its kind of making me like, reflect y'know? Yeah, well that's all I wanted to say since I've noticed it a lot recently, and it's been in my mind a lot. Actually it's sort of helping me in a way... Thanks for the translation btw!! I always look forward to your clips and translations!
@cosmochoco3 жыл бұрын
Hmm how do I say it For example, astel know himself better and he is the type of people who would worry more about what he is lacking than thinking about his achievements so far. We might know what he think is lacking, but no one sees it as problem? We still see him as amazing anyway I don't know much but it might applies to you too.

@@cosmochoco Yeah, I'm like that too, I tend to focus on my flaws more than I do on my good points, which Astel does a lot too..? Its like no matter how good I'm at something, I never think it's good enough. He's been a big comfort for me because of this, and like I said before it's caused me to reflect a lot more on what I do myself too!

6:17 The fact that this was streamed on March and holostars announced their 3D live on June confirms that Astel is a time traveller (or that holostars have been planning it since march but thats a much less interesting theory than the astel time traveller theory so i'll stick with the first theory )

I don’t understand the 1999 comment, can someone explain please??
@cassiopee92643 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply! So the person who sent that comment was born in the Showa era, making them at least 32, they were saying that there were a lot of kids born in the 21st century now (since that person is relatively older than Astel and most of the chat). Basically it'd be like a millenial getting surprised at Gen Z kids becoming legal now, a way of saying time flies? It was just a random comment that Astel picked up and that led to the console generations talk ww
