Did a bit of water skiing around Ulladulla area at Lake Conjola and Burrill Lake in the mid 60'S to the very early 70's with my late mate in his plywood boat powered by an Holden grey motor with twin strombergs and had heaps of fun. Great to see such a gathering of owners with their boats and being so proud with such "Works of Art" What a spectacular venue and many thanks to Darren for the commentary and also for you Howard for bring this to us. Great to have a mix around Power machines on water as well as on land !! Bill Mc

I used to have an Everingham boat, in the late 1960's - 1975. Of course it was a woodie -- 14'6" long "Flea" hull, with a 186 C.I. Holden motor. A great ski boat for family skiing, and it used little fuel. Flea was Bert Everingham Jr's race boat with a 155 C.I. Falcon motor, many times Australian Champion in its class. His brother, Bruce, also worked in the shop on dad, Bert Snr's farm at Sackville on the Hawkesbury River. I'll keep this gig in mind for 2026.

What a great event. Some great boats that I used to follow back in the day. The one boat apart from island cooler is stinga that I have always remembered. Circuit race blown boat from Victoria. If anyone has pics vids would love to see them. A great video of the event in Yarrawonga. Makes me want to buy an everigham boat just to be apart of it.

Great video and great group of boats interesting to see all the V bottoms . Other than Grand National racers almost all the circle boats here are flat bottoms. The capsule v bottom circle boat races in Australia are the best most exciting boat races ive ever watched. I have had flat bottoms in the past then got into drag hydros of which I still have . At 71 its a little late for me but if I could start over I would built a circle racer . Best wishes, keep the wet side down. 81 Deaver Hystrung #117

Great concept and so good to see all these boats back on the water. I have some old footage of General E, Misty Fizz, Lords Prayer and Doctor Mac racing at Taree. If you are interested.
