Aston Martin DB5 Start Up!!

Today I heard a noise... something very different from usual.... it sounded like a old straight six engine... So I ran out! As I got out the door, this beautiful, stunning Aston Martin DB5 just rolls past. As shocks go... this one is up there! This honestly has to be in the top 5 cars I have captured in Exeter! Top being the Lexus LFA of course and the Porsche Carrera GT! So top 3 even! This gorgeous DB5 looked like it was transporting some men to a wedding... as wedding cars go, this is the pinnacle! One detail I loved was a sticker on the windscreen that said car 007. Yes that's right, this company or owner designated this car to 007... genius! This car of course is more well known as being James Bond's car of choice, my favourite James Bond car of all time. The Best James Bond Car of all time! A car graced famously by Roger Moore, in Goldfinger this car was the highlight! Featuring in Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, cameo in The World's Not Enough and finally Casino Royale! This car will always hold a special place in my heart as a James Bond Fan as a kid! So every time I see a DB5 even if it's a replica... I get all choked up, it's an event!! The 4 litre straight six engine has a gorgeous burble, a lovely sound and I was so happy to capture this car starting up too, even if some chaps decided to chat to me as I capture it! I had to capture a detail I love with these cars... the Superleggera badge on the bonnet! Until Next Time!!!
