Would you say that you're constantly trying new products from different companies because you want to see if there is something better? Or is it because technology is constantly changing in the car care world?

We can see you touching up the stone chips with a touch up matching paint and cocktail stick. It appeared like you did this after detailing. Is this correct? Do you not touch up the paint then polish after to try to polish flat the touch up paint? Keen to know the best method to touch up stone chips using a touch up paint. Thanks
@milaskilathelab
@milaskilathelab 6 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't do that, the touch up paint still needs to harden, you go over it with something else a few days later you'll most likely ruin the finish..

Why don't you just sand? you polish one panel for three hours, when you could dry sand or wet sand it down safely and then buff and polish and you would have same or better result in 40min. they have 5000 grit for finer issues..
@priewekris
@priewekris 6 жыл бұрын
Alisha Schupp there is a lot of added risk with sanding. Jim mentioned this in another vlog he did a while back.
@SnipingSwitchHD

He does sand deeper scratches. I totally understand him for not sanding larger areas, though. Especially since it's usually not necessary and often too risky on these delicate old paintworks.
