This changes everything for our club in the modern game. Under 2 years ago under Gerrard and NUFC getting bought by a country, I wondered if I'd ever see us break the top 4 again in my lifetime. What is still amazing to me, or maybe not so amazing, is that he could have sign with Newcastle which looked like the better job at the time. Then that social media post with Emery talking about how Villa felt like home... it gave me the shivers mate. Now we're in Champions League. We're going to win the whole damn thing.

I'm so proud of this football club what a journey i still remember that moment when we beat Derby to get promoted into the premier league. Unai is just him hes an angel sent from the heavens. Half a season it took to get us to conference league to now qualifying for champions league UTV!!!!!!!!!

I have not question Duran, except wondering where is he going to land after Villa. We need to keep that dude and endure his growing. He is a great talent and IS going to be Villa's next great goal scorer.

One thing about Duran, he loves to compete. He wants to show he's the best guy on the field. My wife spent three years in Columbia. We are HUGE Duran fans. He will fight to the end as most Colombians do. It's in his blood. We can't keep a guy like him on the bench for long. He is due for Champions League glory.

I can tell he’s gonna be good, Ollie deserves to keep playing to the same capacity but I hope and honestly expect to see a lot of Duran next season. He isn’t always scoring but he’s always electric

On Watkins... Did you see the respect he was given before he made that cross to Tielemans. Is he going inside, is he going outside? No, baseline back feed. The dude is becoming unstoppable. I saw a Haaland tap in today and he took at pk for someone else again. Don't get me wrong, Haaland world class, but is he a complete player?? Ollie creates, Ollie scores, Ollie is world class. He should get player of the year. Regardless, he'll keep proving people wrong.

We don't know how much he spent but he brought in six players, mainly because of injuries: Torres, Moreno, Diaby, Teilliman, Doran, and Rogers. Plus Zaniolo and Langlet on loans for a total of eight players.
