Ah...Dishoon. My favourite Indian restaurant chain...their breakfast menu is in my opinion one of the best in London...and what you ordered DJ is exactly what i would order...as for the codfee?...one of the best in London hands down. Great review mate..here's to the next one.

This vlog is a great find.I am about the same age, retired, ride a BMW GS, and like you, I suspect have nothing to prove. The delivery of the content is more than perfect. Quiet, honest, knowledgable with a hint of cheeky chappie. Your presentation or image could be a bit intimidating to an old lady but it really suits your style. You are not afraid to remove service charge and tell them when it's not deserved ....perfect.Not normally impressed with the 'Mike Read ' Cockney smart arse way, but you do none of that. Long may you continue, oh and the Ducati does you no harm ! Thanks.Big Fan.

One of our favorite restaurants. There is a Dishoom in Edinburgh off St. Andrews Square that is fabulous, reservations are strongly recommended! Bottomless porridge with fresh fruit is delicious. Well staffed, friendly, great service. Glad you loved it as well!

I went to Dishoom Kensington back in 2018, and had The Big Bombay breakfast. It looks like the menu has changed slightly as the one I had come with masala scrambled egg, which is not listed now (and was delicious!). Anyway, the decor was amazing: 1930s art deco. As you said, the service was amazing! The food.........off the charts! Your video has made me want to go back! Thanks DJ.

Amazing breakfast review at DISHOOM my friend - a few years ago I went to their Covent Garden branch (next door to STRINGFELLOWS) where my boss and I enjoyed a delicious brekkie of Chai, Lassis and Dishoom's famous "Bacon Naan Breakfast Wrap with mango chutney and chillis". Little oil or non if really good non stick pan, crack in egg let the white cook until its white (low medium heat) then put a few splashes of water in the pan and stick a lid on until the yolk goes opaque. Job done ❤

He actually knew what was on the menu, His Excellent Customer Rapport was really Incredible. It really did look, like a very Beautiful Breakfast cooked to Perfection. Always enjoy your videos Darren. Glad you enjoyed Dishoom. Oddly enough although I've been umpteen times I've never been for breakfast nor have I been to the Canary Wharf site that you did. I'm Indian myself, living here in the UK, and although Dishoom say they model themselves on the Iranian cafes in Bombay - I have to say that those cafes aren't up to much - Dishoom is far better. I'd also say that whenever I get visitors coming to London, be they from the US, SE Asia or India itself, Dishoom is the most popular restaurant that they want to visit. So clearly Dishoom is doing something right. And what is it? Well I'd have to say consistency. It's pretty tough to grow a 'chain' and maintain the same (high) standards of food, service etc - but I think they really do achieve that. I don't think that all their dishes are great - I certainly prefer their small plates to their large ones. Their keema pau is outstanding for example - I'll always order that. And their masala chai is the best though it's 2024 and they really should be offering a sugar free version - after all sugar is a silent killer. Nor should we forget the tremendous job that they do for charity - apparently they've served 20 million meals to their two chosen charities. If only Dishoom were a political party I'd probably vote for them next week. Where next, Darren?
