One thing I wanted to check, heavy weapon squads and FoB are infantry. Not a huge buff but them going down in points may make me take a few as direct support with lascannons :D

Is it just me or does this seem incredibly strong. It’ll be different but dropping 2 scions on anything’s and they’ll kill it. Seems incredible.

It looks tasty. 🤤 Remember they lose lethal hits vs non-big stuff. And if you do take tanks they lose lethals vs big stuff. Can Scions or kasarkin in Taurox Prime cut it as anti-T10?

2 taurox primes, 2 command squads (command rods, medic packs), 2 five man scions, Ursula(deployed out back) NUKE. 4 orders, free FoF, free CP on 4+ from FoF. +1 to wound rolls, full rerolls, sustained 1. 20 scions(that cant be screened) hitting on 2s with 3+ saves, OC1-4 depending. It also plays well with born soldiers also, swap +1 to wounds with lethal hits.

Nemo already went 7-1 at WCW with full infantry guard. This is going to be super strong.

The strats only being 1cp means that lord horse man isnt a prerequisite to make the army work with this detachment.

That vox enhancement is good but unless im mistaken its 1 order being given to 3 units.

I actually quite like ratlings in this detachment too, maybe 2 5 mans or a 10 and 5 man or something. Feels like a good unit to pop out of a ruin, shoot to apply ignores cover and scoot back behind the wall

Can still only take 3 units of Acquilons. They dont have the Temptestus Scions keyword that this detachment specifically states needing for being battle line.

Powerful but predictable. I can see this being amazing against elite armies like Custodes, who have little DS screening potential, but being *meh* against horde armies. Also, a minor difference: it's not 3 orders, it's issue 1 order to 3 units (Pretty much 3 orders but of only 1 of the orders, similar to how our army rule was back in 9th)

Thanks for the breakdown guys :) It sure feels like there's 2 different teams creating those Detachments >< If you look at the Ork and Astra ones and then at the Drukhari and Aeldari you can see what I am talking about 🤣

Gotta disagree about the Dark Eldar/Harlequin one. There's some good rules there and it's got some good fluff behind it to boot.

*Good Strats* I could concede that but you cannot say in good faith that the detachment rule was well thought. You also pivote away from the Drukhari which already have 3 distinct factions within them so forcing you to collect yet another range … The Wager is not nearly as good as most other Detachments that were released for Grotmass.

Rerolls on an army that already rerolls is mediocre sorry. If the Strats were not as good as they are no one would even be thinking about this detachment appart from the fluff side.

Just played against this, had to concede turn 3 after losing my army to max scions dropping with that damn +1 to wound on top of orders. I was running transport heavy Eldar, didn't matter 😂

Trying to decide if this or the Aeldari Tank detachment is the worst so far. This one is horrible especially in light of points increases.

And also have he potential for better OC, and the strats are really good. Turn one deep strike, take up three units and put them into deep strike. This is an insane detachment.

Militsrum Tempestus is the keyword for the faction and Aquilons definitely have that
