Just listened to your post. I am struck by the child in the garden being tended to by a mother figure. Had the immediate impression of The Prince of Peace and the Mother of Hope in the garden of Beauty. The binary of traditional , liberal may find reconciliation here.

The child was certainly significant but the woman was a carer not his mother. I would not have described this experience as spiritual or emotive in the astral sense, it was more psychic/mental like a remote view. I've encountered a similar child in an even more lucid, though totally different, astral setting. On that occasion he was presented with maternal figures who were water elementals and the child himself was exceptionally - dangerously - powerful and able to manipulate water, even huge bodies of water, with natural ease. He was considered so dangerous that they didn't want him above ground.

So I just got to this section in The Hideous Strength - undoubtedly a great magical work, as you already indicated: "For a hundred generations in two lines the begetting of this child was prepared." - I couldn't help thinking of the Prince, especially the one of water.....@@augustjohn5908
