I just want to thank you this actually fixed my headset out of nowhere it acted like it wouldn't turn on I could hear a regular basis volume but I couldn't talk the red light when it come on nothing would work basically but I did the hard reset and Bam it worked thank you

I also experienced the same issue today, and I followed the steps you recommended. Hold the two buttons referenced in your video. I also held the bottom button then held the power button and it worked. Try disconnecting the power cord that charges your headset then repeat the steps. It should work.

I’m sure you have tried this and fixed your issue by now.. but... I did some tests with different quality cables going from the Xbox to amp I found that you can have an issue from the USB to micro power cord. The cord will allow enough power thru to the amp to see it light up but not enough to allow connection. I would reccomend trying a good quality power cord as second step , hard reset is always advised as a first step. This was my repaIr to my specific issue

Disconnect from the base. Then try. I have the A20 completely wireless and plugged into a regular usb power source. Make sure you bad has no power. You are doing a hard no power reboot. It worked for me

You have to hold both buttons down for 10 to 15 seconds let go and it turns on Within 5 to 1o seconds. Make sure everything is connected. This includes having the headset plugged into the 0.5mm is charging cable. Hope this was helpful.

Thanks, man. Works like a charm. I like these headphones but they're honestly flawed; firstly they play a really annoying sudden sound with no build up to tell you when it's battery is low and now and then it just randomly stops working and I have to look up these tutorials. It also just randomly turns off when you don't use it which is another negative. Anyway, at least the sound quality is good! Nice tutorial!

I got mines to work in a different method, I was holding the on/off button on the adaptor thing and on the mic at the same time for like 10 seconds and then the audio went through the headphones, hope that helped.

Not an option for a p4 slim. The slim does not have an optical port. You have to buy an external piece if you wish to use that on a slim. It is completely unnecessary as well considering it was working for me earlier that week

[UPP] Hay yeah that’s your best option. Astro was able to help me out replacing my headset twice. After the second one their support team decided to upgrade my A20 to an A40. Worst case scenario you end up with a better headset you should definitely contact them.

Hold “game” button under the volume switch and power button at the same time and it should turned on. Make sure it’s plug to the base before doing and it should work, I just did it and my headset just turned on

Optical port isnt on the slim p4 so its fine that was not the issue the headset was defective and they were able to upgrade and replace them for an A40

No it never work my model had a defect. Astro was kind enough to help and replace my headset. They felt obligated to upgrade it to an A40 for the inconvenience of a faulty headset. They accommodated me twice both times they sent me bad headsets so it was in their best interest to keep the customer happy ig. This was almost a year ago and their A40 model is still in peak condition. If you are having the same issue I suggest getting in contact with their support team they should be able to assist you.
