Is it possible to take this with you on a plane with checked in luggage?

I'm going to say no but double check me on this. My understanding is batteries under a certain size can be brought on a plane. I think it usually has to be under like 100 watts for carry on and 160 watts or so I think if it's with the other luggage. You have to do a little math to get that number but I'm thinking these jumper starters are in the 300 watt range or so.

How long do you charge it once you get it out the box new?

I've reviewed a handful of these jump starters now so it gets hard to remember. They have all been at least 3/4 charged as far as I remember. I don't think any of them have taken more than an hour to fully charge out of the box.

Can I charge the car battery with that or it is just a jump starter?

These are only meant to jump start. They are not set up to trickle charge the battery. If you are looking for a charger there are several good ones on the market. I have videos I’ve done on these as well. The hulkman sigma 5 and the noco genius are both good units that I’ve been using for a while now. 😉

I just wonder how long they last compared to Noco -- in terms of longevity, that's what scares me about non established jump pack brands....which is most of them.

I 100% agree with you here. NOCO definitely has the reputation to back them. I love NOCO stuff & own a few of their products as well. So far I've had pretty good luck with this one. I used it a handful of times so far. Just used it a couple of days ago on my truck as a matter of fact. There are definitely a ton of new players on the market now though. I'll give you that!

According to the company website, the unit does not come with a power brick. And that is too bad. :(

At the time I filmed this there were 2 different listings. The only difference was if it had the power brick or not. It look like at least for now they might not have the power version one anymore which I would agree is unfortunate!
