Space is so big it’s hard to comprehend how big the universe is, for example the deeper we look into space the further back in time we are actually seeing things. But we can never prove there _isn't_ no matter how much we search and don't encounter any. Because the universe is so large, that we have by far no hope of ever exploring it all. 😱 Even if we do encounter a few places where there is life, we cannot be sure that isn't all there is. There may not be anymore, in the places we haven't searched.

Doubt it! 😒 All this business about dark matter and dark energy could be explained if gravity were just a tiny, miniscule amount stronger than we realize, and that little bit compounds over gigantic distances. In fact, if you check, I bet you will find that the farther away a place is from us, the greater quantity of dark matter there is believed to be "hiding" there.

The more fascinating thing is that the universe made a conscious organism which we are. Even our biology is composed of all the materials formed billions of years ago when our sun formed and later the planets around it. As Carl Sagan said, “You are a way for the universe to experience itself.”
