THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU ❤❤❤ for interviewing this amazing man, Marc Laurensen!!! Capricorn is in my 7th house. My Saturn is in the 9th. My Jupiter in the 11th and my Venus in the 1st. They all work beautifully together. This I've only realised after listening to this beautiful interview with you both. I'm 59! 60th coming up in August. Saturn has led me through a roller coaster of lessons. Mostly hard lessons but my goodness it's paid off generously. I have everything I've ever needed. I'm financially quite poor but I have a wealth of life experience and all thanks to Saturn and Marc for enlightening me in this interview. This is the icing on the cake for me. I've been listening to astrological interviews for around 3 years and mostly I've heard that Saturn is malefic! But, listening to your interview with Marc has enlightened me, introduced me to a new perspective on Saturn. I absolutely resonate with this 🫶 This is, so far, the best gift I've received going through my second Saturn return. This is invaluable! I'll never look upon Saturn in the same way again! Saturn moulds and shapes us through time until you become your own beautiful masterpiece. ✨️ 💜 ✨️ THANK YOU 🙏🙏🙏🫶🙏🙏🙏

My beloved mother passed in my first Saturn Return, starting me on a path of leaving my hometown for a long time…traveling, living on a Caribbean island, becoming a yoga teacher and a rave party dj there. Now, I’m on my second Saturn return and back in my hometown, no partner, no kids, never married…astrologer, yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, with a deep, mostly unexpressed love of music, a desire to write it without movement toward that…wanting clarity on an authentic heart centered and passionate mission.
@amandawalsh29985 ай бұрын
Sounds like you're at a very important crossroad! And from what you've shared here, it seems clear that expressing some of this "unexpressed" passion, desire and love is part of the path forward. Does that feel true to you? ❤

I'm going through my 2nd Saturn return. When I went through my first Saturn return, I was doing stand-up comedy. It helped with my depression (much better than therapy), but it didn't pay the bills. It was a bumpy path from there. I was just looking at the clock. It said 3:22. I checked the symbolism of that number. It said, " You are on the right path. Keep it up!"
@amandawalsh29985 ай бұрын

I don’t know if I’m teary-eyed here at the end because I wish more people understood that Saturn is cheering us on and wants us to work through hard things and come out the other side (I feel too many folks in these times air on the side of apathy) or if it’s because as a Capricorn sun who has always deeply resonated with all the Saturnian qualities of Capricorn this just makes me feel in awe of everything Saturn has done for me, shaped me, and continues to push me towards. This was a brilliant talk. So nice to meet you here, Marc.

Loved Marc ❤ I will be 64 on the 22 this month and recognizing all you both talked about. In my early 20-es “studied” astrology and has never left. Saturn being the “bad/hard guy” made me anxious to astrology so couldn’t go into the really reading of my chart. So I ‘m very happy with internet and learning from other astrologers for all those years and not scared anymore and knowing I’m what I am here for. It’s been tough but greatful for all of the lessons and of course still learning and “unpealing”and gaining clearity❤ Thank you Amanda for bringing in another wonderful Astrologer ❤

Thank you for these amazing insights! Working with Saturn consciously is a big part of my life, I’m sure I’ll rewatch this episode many times. Love the contract idea! I hope you don’t mind if I share a few thoughts about my understanding of Saturn. (I’m finishing the first year Hellenistic course of Nightlight Astrology, so I don’t clame I know better or anything, I just like how Adam teaches about malefic and benefic). I’m in my first return, and in a few days I’m going to the funeral of a highschool classmate. She had a Cap stellium, battling leukemia through her Saturn (in Aquarius) return…this is why Saturn is called a ‘malefic’. Not because it’s inherently evil or harmful, but it teaches big life lessons, usually through making you face cold hard reality. And we would much rather prefer getting a gift from someone (Jupiter or Venus), than a message about someone dying. It’s subjectively much harder to go through at the time of the transit (but it surely can bring good things for the long term - a deeper understanding, becoming more responsible, using time more wisely…).

Thanks for a good interview! I am a couple of years past my 2nd saturn return. Saturn and venus conjunct natally. I find saturn extremely satisfying. Afterwards. Compare it with a tough class of whatever: study, excersize. The feeling áfterwards, is what I have learned that I am doing it for. The growth after a couple of years, when I keep showing up regularly/daily. I prefer the postponed reward to the instant satisfaction. By far!! I also learnt that there is a difference between intense connection and dependency. When I feel dependent, I always go back to what the connection is exáctly, because dependency is for the larger part emotion. I have a lot of pisces energy. I like saturn. He is my friend. He gives me structure, goal, grit. But I guess most of all, saturn has taught me that consistent quality input múst give good quality outcome. I leave it with this.

My 2nd Saturn return was in 2021, on the exact date and at my natal Saturn exact degree and Sign to the (I repeat degree- minute) my mom past away. I use an astrology coach the last 8 years. The best advise she gave me was three years before the exact day of the 2nd return, budget and plan to have all this done over 36 months - full physical, colonoscopy, mammogram teeth cleaning , eye exam so when it’s “exact” you’ll be somewhat ahead of the major life changes …. #best advise ever!!! I budgeted, changed to frugal ways to invest in health testing, while paying off my debt. Three years out of the 2nd return, CUT BACK and focus… health is your wealth. ✨🙏🏼✨✨ the year of my mom’s passing I could barely function … ❤

Thank you for this talk. Really enjoyed it. I often wonder what does Saturn want of me? I would love to hear 10 Astrologers talk about Saturn and then see where Saturn is in the chart! I was thinking as a Cap rising and Aquarius Moon, it’s not about making Saturn proud. It’s about making me proud of myself. Self-respect, self-authority, Self-control (particularly with letting emotions ”run roughshod” etc.) but then I thought I only think that cause of MY Saturn placement and sign placements. And obviously Marc has Saturn square the luminaries/nodes so he’s gonna say that too about the emotions, etc. So only we can really determine what Saturn means to us. Otherwise it’s coming thru someone else’s lens related to his own Saturn relationship. What does someone with a non-aspected Saturn have to say? Or an astrology-delineated “weak” Saturn have to say? That would be interesting. I may have to search some charts. 💡Always much to learn, that’s for sure! ❤😂😊

Years ago I read Grant Lewi's book a chapter about Saturn transiting Mars, - it was a library book, - ... I took notes, still have my notes, finding them important, remember every time i see aspects between the two planets appearing....Would love to learn more ? Please : ) My increased interest right now is because, in connection with my father's death, my siblings and I have had many embarrassing confrontations & conflicts. I see that my sisters all have hard transits from Saturn to their natal mars right now....and I became aware by studying our birth charts that in our birth horoscopes synastry we have hard aspects, in all cases their Mars is to my Saturn.

I have to disagree with the speaker. This approach puts a person into guilt, shame and blame. We are not in control of our lives as the speaker said. We are born into certain cultural, social and religious that affect the way we grow up and make decisions. Traumatic early childhood experience, as well as wars and other traumas all affect the way we make decisions later in life. Please, don't say that the children that are currently dying in wars are fully responsible for their death, or deserve it. This is a damaging spiritualist narrative that isn't helpful, but only promote the blame the victim paradigm that is neither true, not helpful. This is turn off and I am not even interested to listen further what this speaker has to say. Aside, say how special and great he is, he left very distasteful impression. Advice is more humility and compassion, less arrogance and Ego

Hi Natalia, thank you for sharing your thoughts and I totally respect your opinion. My heart goes out to people in truly difficult situations yet I have seen people who come from threatening, impoverished and hopeless backgrounds who have turned their lives around into something purposeful, loving and powerful. I actually have these people in my life. They are truly amazing and have said they would not be the people they are today without having experienced hardship in their past. Saturn never blames you, makes you feel guiltily or wrong, we do that to ourselves. It is only offering ways to strengthen you. I imagine Natalia some of the more difficult experiences in your life have taught you lessons on becoming the strong woman you are today. Love Marc
