Not a horror person so I never played Subnautica but this looks a lot like Planet Crafter with the exploring further and further as you get better transportation / oxygen capacity. Looks real nice.

I think once it has a little more automation it will have alot more planet crafter vibes, which itself also borrowed from subnautica for the base building :P

Exactly the same! I want cozy- not frightening. So I always passed on Subnautica aside from glowing reviews.

Since there are no actual original ideas left and there are only so many types of games, all games are some new version or take on an older game, so i am fine with Subnatica in space. I own Subnatica and the second one but have never actually played them because i am more into space games so i may have to check this one out. Thanks for the video.

the cool thing about subnautica is that being underwater its the closest you get to a space game without being a space game, i do highly recommend it thought, first one is better than the second by a mile! Im really looking forward to the updates on this one too, if done right it could be a hugely popular game!

This is heavily no man's sky inspired. Textures, ships, buildings, plants, ect.

FYI - the story is that you have been in your escape pod for months after the explosion awaiting rescue that never came. Your pod has been drifting in space until it finally crashed into something and that's where you start. Those logs are super easy to miss.

Very much like Breathedge/Subnautica.. Looks interesting but not grabbing my full attention yet.. Still tempted in buying it though, it’s has some potential

definately worth following and adding to your wishlist if you want to wait for more content first, but there is that little launch discount if you get it now, then you can still choose to wait to play it till later :)

@ Price wise it’s a nice bargain tbh, it reminds heavily of Breathedge if you’ve ever played it, but with bases/tools from Subnautica. Just bought it this morning, really hoping they look into VR option in the future and weirdly changing the font used for items etc, not sure why but not a fan of the font.. Gonna give it a proper go tonight after work 😊

this looks like a copy of planet crafter, just better graphics when they add the drones hopefully they do it right and it doesnt lag up the game

I think its a fair price for what we have, its short but fun trying to find all the things, and if all goes well it will be a great filler game till subnautica 2 coming end of next year :)

@@KenetorTV Thanks - I think I did actually play the demo, and it was fun. I think the story would be the main draw to these types of games. Since I am not too fond of pure sandbox games.
