The mining base has all the scanning fragments for the miner you can switch out batteries between tools ie put the miner 🔋 in the scanner when you need power

I remember seeing the switch out button and tried it later, and yep you can swap batteries. That would have helped!

Nice video. You can use your scrapper tool on smaller minerals to save on your battery life. Reserve your mining tool for harder metal like silver. The little blue trees that glow can bue taken down by the scrapper to give you fruit. and the fungus on the rock can also be taken. I know this was a first look but this info is just incase you do a full playthrough of the game.

I mean, if I get a good game I don't mind some heavy "inspiration". I've always wanted a space subnautica, and up until now have only gotten games vaguely similar in concept. This seems to execute it more closely.

SpaceNautica! Were you having some kind of trouble seeing the UI? I noticed you were missing things that were clearly visible in the video, such as your mission objectives.

I think it was more along the lines of ignoring the mission in the upper right. I thought it was a tutorial and I knew better lol. Yeah, no I should have followed it as things got unlocked

Spent the last few days playing and it is fun, but at this point I think any series would be really short as I've gotten through the early access content within 4 days. Maybe I got really lucky on finding the items needed at each POI and stumbling across the items and the resources needed to craft. I look forward to Genosis in space when you do get a chance to add a series on Astrometica.

It does look really good. I'm kind of sick of games with generic assets. I get why indie developers use it, but it gets a little same same after awhile. But this game also reminds me of Drift/Planet Crafter. And I wishlisted based on this video so if the dev is watching, Genosis sold me on this.

Nice! I'd keep an eye on it, there is maybe about 10-15 hours of content at the moment, but there is quite a bit more not yet implemented

I keep throwing down the water and oxygen in planet crafter when I trying to use them too. Subnautica is kind of Subnautica in space if you think about it.

I bought this on launch day and really been enjoying it. Only "problem" I have is that it seems the food and water drain so fast. Need some "iron gut" or something to slow them down. Thought about trying the creative mode, but that takes a majority of the fun out of it as everything would be unlocked. So new series on this coming when?

It's a contender after Sunkenland; the game is still a bit under baked, there is only an introductory level of content ready. There is this whole notion of taking gate or portal to various areas you find coordinates for, but those areas are not ready. Also there is a bunch of doors locked with the code "WIP"/Work in Progress, so I feel like a series would be premature.
