Excelent video, this is really helpfull, I am setting up my laptop to do your method but I was worried about taking it apart. Now I am all set up.

Also be careful not to let your screw driver slip at any time. When using it to undo or attach the ribbons it's easy to slip and go into the circuit board.

zetreque yeah it worked, thanks, hope it last for some time, because I am not very good at soldering, I kindda damaged a ribon a little on the process of putting it appart but it still works.

Great you fixed it! I hope it lasts for you too. If you have to, next time you will know more when doing it and soldering takes practice.
