P2c00Camaro yeah I still love it. I barely move it from my desk and when I do take it to my gfs house or anywhere it still works just fine. The only game I experience frame drops with is modern warfare 2 sometimes. Not to the point where it’s unplayable but I don’t like playing games at around 50 FPS. I’m too used to the 120 that I average on basically all other games aside from gtaV. I hate playing things on my lap. Just not comfortable to me.

I own this laptop it is a monster, I got it for a trade. So far it's works great. I was scared because when you first turn it on and download updates and the windows 10 recent update it will update your bios literally so it's smart to plug in everything and let it do its thing. After 2 hours I was able to enjoy the laptop it has alot of great tweaks in hardware and software to give you your own custom gaming feel. Despite it's weight and design it will not fail you in everything you want to do in gaming , programming, and editing.

@@ahmedalsiqqiqi192 Actually there is an ROG setting button that let set the fan speed. What I use now is Balance mode and only use 1 power source.. it silent. Even I run Archicad, Grasshopper, Rhino, Blender.. it still silent. Only rendering with Eevee will make a fan sound but still low..

It is, but the non max-q variants of laptop GPU's these days are just underclocked desktop chips. The better the cooling and power delivery the higher they can run the clock speeds and this thing for a laptop has insane cooling and power delivery.

CJBMAGGOT94 exactly. They’ve come along sY with laptops. It should of been done ages ago. I can appreciate max q for the form factor. But Sometimes the laptops that I can only consider are max q. Fortunately my 1070 is a full version. But I only got this short term as the laptop I want is just smaller laptop of what I got in profile but same screen better everything. Just a shame it’s a 2070 max q.

Cool video. Now, could you tell me how you got the volume so high??? I have GL703V/ ModelGL703VD-RS71-CB and i can barely hear the dang thing. Here's what i've tried so far, went in sounds/Playback/right clicked Speakers/Properties/Enhancements and clicked Loudness Equalization. Now, i don't have a decibel meter but don't need one to say audible is to low. Any help would be nice Thank you

Just swap the M.2 to one of the spots with the cooler and switch boot drive in bios if you are that worried. Not that big of a deal.

CPU is soldered on the MB. You can upgrade RAM and SSD.

You forgot, after remove the motherboard, you will find the two System RAM slots on the underside for uprade the system RAM. I found out by removing the mother board on my 4 years old ASUS ROG G750 for cleaning.

It's a desktop replacement.. meaning you only operate on battery for casual browsing or office functionality... otherwise jus like a desktop... why the battery is an issue for laptops like these I'll never understand.. it's actually dangerous to use these machines on battery at all..

Cool vid! These days I get excited about the simple things. Lol... I was just excited that there was no creepy or techno music overshadowing the education. That aside...I genuinely enjoyed your review. I am actually in the market for a new lapto so I have just started my research in the last two weeks. I think I have narrowed it down to the Dell XPS Inspiron. Ironically, I just want an everyday laptop that I can use to do some occasional djing and karaoke events. Because I am annoyed with the process, but still like computers, I am opting for an i7, 1 tb ssd. But here's the thing...I am not able to determine if the 1 tb ssd pcie is as fast as the Samsung evo 960 or 970 series.... I tend to ramble. ..lol... My badd... buuuuut would u happen to know the answer to that question. Right now... the plan is to locate a user manual and hopefully thr detail specs are in the manual. I would hate to pony up 3k for laptop just to find that the Dell source components are the same speed as the sata ssds.... If u have time, cool....If not, no biggie... I still enjoyed your vid... Definitely hot but it looks like it was 4.7 GHz which is impressive for stock . I bet with liquid metal it might get close to 5 GHz, basically what most people have on their overclocked 8700k's.

Check the "Mobile supercomputers" and carefull, this IS the candy shop for enthusiasts, only downsides are the RGB keyboards are underwhelming and the cases are tasteless but under the trunk i didnt find better.

There is a 'MINI' display port. They have same performance as their full size. And HDMI. Both can support audio out if you use a Mini display to hdmi adapter out.
