Im just waiting on mine being delivered, the same spec screen and GPU but with a 5800h, it was on offer for a fair bit less than the 5900hx version for not a lot less performance. It's an upgrade from a GTX 970/I5 4690k desktop so it will feel like an absolute beast to me, I cant wait.

I just bought this a couple weeks ago. And it’s a really nice laptop I’ve never spent this much money on one though. I am really impressed I play currently World of Warcraft, WW2, & OverWatch all on max settings and I get a good 30-120fps between those games. Im going to play more games

hi man, the asus strix g15 with 3060/6800h 2k 165hz is going for around 1300usd in my country and the legion 5 with 3060/11400h is going for the same price, the strix g16 isnt availabe in my country yet and i think its gonna be more expensive when it comes out, do you think i should get the g15 strix? im worried about thermals and noise, do you think its gonna be good using the method you showed in this video? can you recommend what should i do please and thank you

Man, nice video! I have a question. I bought this Brand New laptop two days ago but my experience is not so good. Always low fps than I expected. Both GPUs integrated amd dedicated are always running at the same time (dunno if it's normal). I tried everything: change settings on nvidia control pannel, reinstalling drivers, but nothing changed. Seems like Radeon iGPU is doing most of the job. League of legends 100fps, rage 2 60fps, valorant 120. Any suggestions?

There’s no mux switch so u can’t disable the IGPU. If u connect it to a external monitor fps will improve vastly. But with that said your fps is way too low I think

But as I understand, you really like the overall design and other features of this machine, so... Why don't you look at a bit simplified version of this laptop? I'm talking about this one 👉 amzn.to/2Z1MHYq It packs very powerful CPU, a lot of RAM and storage, but the main difference is in its graphics card. It has NVIDIA RTX 3050 Ti, which is an awesome choice, and allows to save up a little of money. If you are considering other manufacturers and models, let me know about it! Also, please, let me know what exactly you're gonna do with your new laptop and I will help to choose the perfect one!

They also have this laptop in even cheaper variant - amzn.to/3kTBAsa Overall it's fine, but it only comes with 8 GB RAM (which is not enough in 2021), and it has very cut down version of RTX 3050. If you are considering other models, maybe take a look at Razer's 2020 Base model laptop - amzn.to/3cudrE0 It is very powerful - aimed at gaming and creative work, plus it looks amazing. I've just looked at all other laptops in the price range $900-$1250 and these 3 seem to be the best value for the money. Please, let me know what do you think about them!

Hey! I bought Asus rog Strix G17 6800h and 3060 140w ! In Battlefield 5 , Im getting 89C on CPU and 84 on GPU ! (rtx on, dx12,all ultra ) Is it good or should i also remove the boost from the registry as i saw many of owners doing this.

You should get yourself a cooling pad or tweak settings. Ideally, GPU's temperature shouldn't go beyond 80 degrees. 84 is acceptable, but not perfect. You shouldn't worry too much, but the laptop will thank you later if you treat it better ;)
