loooks great, your also the only chan with this board in an actual build, appreciate that

Man, that is one of the cleanest builds I've seen.... Can you do an in depth build video showing the back and how you plumbed your tubing? Are you running a Rez\pump combo? Also, what are you using to prop your GPU up?

Great build, the damn Asus mobos are getting so expensive 😮
@JCustomАй бұрын
yes, but materials have also increased a lot. While the price is high today's Asus boards are mostly all 8 layer pcb vs before where the very few high end ones would be. Copper has also gone up 2x since a couple years ago and other materials. However, it is fair to say that ASUS has moved to a more higher end segment. Of course the bottom end boards like TUF have also improved quite a bit but maintained the 200 dolllarish mark and are more than serviceable for any chip.

Is the Hero motherboard better than the Strix x870e Gaming WiFi for overclocking on Ryzen 9 x3D, overall RAM performance, and for use with a directly connected NAS?
@JCustomАй бұрын
depends on the additional features, from what you list no difference.

What waterblock are you using for the CPU and what coolant do you typically use?
@JCustomАй бұрын
I am using a bitspower revo. I normally use mayhems xt-1 with dye or mayhems pastel.
@captainlooney4356Ай бұрын
@@JCustom I use Mayhems XT-1 also. Do you have a preferred store to buy stuff from? I seem to always have difficulty finding any Mayhems XT-1 coolant in stock especially clear.

how can hold GPU ??? i like it

its a custom designed holder which passes fittings thru and mounts the gpu block.

Having never touched AMD, what are the odds of coming close their claims that the X870E with a 9000 series CPU is supported up to 8200+? Have you been able to get any consistent stable high clock speeds? I'm going to be grabbing one of these Hero's and then in Jan snag the 9950X3D... but it sure would be nice if I could run something higher than 6400 and be stable. I'd rather be up around 7600ish?
@JCustomАй бұрын
I have had no issues hitting 8400 on my hero x870e. However, you would be running your fabric out of sync which brings in latency. Therefore, outside of just memory benchmarks and saying you can I find it hard to justify running higher than 6000 with tight timings on AMD.
