Never buy a Asus product if you don't want to be scammed by their RMA warranty. Gamers Nexus did a whole video on it.

Yup, they have fallen from grace in the last few years. Back in the 2000s & 2010s ASUS was a very trustworthy company. They made reliable products and honored their warranty. However now ever since the start of the 20s so many scandals and scummy practices from them. Shameful! They just keep on digging themselves a deeper hole.

Great content @Britec09! How would you compare this Vivobook build quality (keyboard touchpad, materials/ premium feel) vs. its Zenbook counterpart? Additionally, in terms of thermal performance, would you say that this is better as it has two fans?

does 32gb soldered mean it acts like 1 stick of ram, therefor less performance? or is it in duel/quad channel?

memory bus is 128 bits wide, so it's like two sticks of ram it's lpddr5 so it has more latency, but also it's faster (much higher clock speed)

it’s soldered as it used lpddr5 which can only be obtained through soldering it

Look into the current scandalous warranty behavior Asus appears to be engaging in, all heavily documented and verified. For you to recommend Asus products right now is tone deaf, pretty questionable, ignorant of current events and obviously problematic. And yes, I also love Asus products historically but am disgusted with what they appear to be doing right now - inexcusable BS behavior against their customers. HIT PAUSE ON BUYING ASUS

All I ever had were 17 inch ASUS ROG laptops from 2010 through today, not a single issue, so I just don't know anything about their RMA. Anything smaller than 16" it's just a toy. imo

Horses for courses,when someone says they want a laptop or tower,the first question is what do want it for?It's the same here if this fits your requirements,then you should buy it,personally not for me as it's not upgradable 👍

Once you go 17", you're never going back to anything smaller. The experience on a larger screen is like day and night, just amazing.

Asus sold me screens that was broken. They said I had to travel my self to Finland with the screens to some kind of central. I stay away from Asus. Beware.
