Can you plugin al to the same wired network to get an more stable mesh?(is this the wired backbone?). Or should there be a dedicated wired connection between the accespoint?

You are correct, this is the wired backbone. This feature was intended for each AP to be connected to an existing wired network in order to get the best performance. I believe you can daisy-chain the access-points as well, but I haven't personally tested this. They were made to either wireless uplink to each other (mesh) or function as regular APs (all wired to a central switched network).

I encountered the same problem as you, with the router's blue light constantly flashing. How did you end up solving it?

I reset the device a couple times and eventually it stopped. I haven't had any issue other than that.
