In my opinion one of the Smartphone brand that didn't tease or announce officially their phones months before their actual launch. The fact that most people said the UI looks ugly then I guess you guys have never used an Asus phone. For me yes, the icons are a bit off but I've change the theme to stock Android, which include launcher icons, statusbar icons and also settings icon to be the same as Vanilla Android. This is done with stock launcher. Asus probably one of the mobile brand that gives tons of customization packed in a single gadget. I also like it when they choose to use the SD625 and SD652 for their midranges compared to competitors which still use the SD615 for this year's mobile phone.

+shadowtsunami Yes! There is huge amount of bloatware such as the PlayTo, ZenCircle, MiniMovie, PartyLink and so much more. All the lower end that have 1Gb of RAM suffers a bit of lagg but any model that have 2Gb and more RAM doesn't have this problem.

Capacitive buttons vs AXON's software one. Svelte and thinner than the Axon with no visible antenna bands. Same grunt from the Snapdragon 820 and with 4/6Gb variations, just like the Axon. Comparable weights (I think the Axon is 10-15 grams heavier). The Axon has front-facing dual hi-fi speakers featuring Dolby Atmos that are said (by reviewers) to be best in class.

For me i still love my zenfone 5 even it is more than the warranty period, asus, still upgrading my phone and i use my phone on my work, like taking photos, and our customer was impressed on how clear the photos even it is only 8mp.

me too. i think it cause of the capacitive button. Regular zen 3 have a button position on the middle but zen 3 deluxe & ultra is on the bottom. That's why i think zen 3 have a good design.

i used zf2. the ui was really unfinished. also performance lacked a lot most of the time. upgraded to moto x pure. pretty happy now. never going back to asus -_-

I don't why a lot of people don't like the UI. If you can use one Android phone that has at least 5.0.2 on it you can use any Android phone from 5.0.2 up to 6.0.1 and maybe even 7.0

Kinda wish the base Zenfone 3 has the Snapdragon 652 instead of the 625. Although they're both new processors, the 652 competes with the 810 in terms of power but slightly more efficient. But for $250, the 625 (8 cortex a53 cores) is still a great for the price for the base model. I'm gonna wait till 2017 Zenfones comes out. I might pass on this.

The Deluxe smaller model of 5.5" (ZS550kl) with 4GB of RAM and 64gb of ROM, has the same Sony sensor as the Zenfone 3 ZE552KL, the *IMX298 Exmor* sensor? In the comparisons I saw, I found the Zenfone 3 camera (intermediate model) better than Deluxe. Why does it happen? Thanks.
