I dont get it..why not put a super AMOLED screen and snapdragon 820 on this since it has a 4600mah battery? The deluxe version has both of those but only a 3000mah battery. Doesnt make sense.

Is the Zenfone 3 Ultra LTE compatible in the USA with AT&T and T-mobile. I have a huawei p8 max which is the perfect size but it does not have LTE in the US and is missing a fingerprint scanner and the extra gig of ram. However my p8 Max is still super snappy despite no LTE.

The Zenphone 3 Ultra came on the market in the Philippines in August. I have owned the Huawei Mediapad X1 for a couple years. Yes I put it up to my ear to take calls. The 1.6 processor isn't great for games but I have a computer for games. It makes web browsing and watching video nice and you don't strain your eyes much. The camera is good enough and people are super picky or I got the only one with a decent camera. 5,000 Mah battery with the 1.6 processor gives fantastic battery/screen on run time. I like that the X1 is NOT type C. When type C is more common than micro USB 2.0, I will switch but that will be years yet. I have a friend with Nexus 5X in the Philippines who needs a type C cable that isn't available locally and he is too lazy to order one. He's an idiot for not ordering it but it illustrates a point. These Zenphone 3 ultra will be cheap in about 2 years and I can decide if I want one then. Thanks to TT for not deciding what size device we need. I would actually like to buy a good 8 inch all rounder with call function (even though it's mostly text these days) but most of them have cameras that really are crap. I'm going to buy a Myphone Myt2 DTV just to see if the size suits me, slow tablet, dual sim phone and digital TV for $70 US or 3k php, I don't see how I can lose.

It looks like it has a great camera based on the other vids you uploaded. It seems too big for an everyday device but it would make a great phablet when you're away from home for a prolonged time period and as a mini tablet. It's great cameras make it stand out from the 7" tablet category.

This is a very nice phone to use, the first ever largest phone I've ever used . Everything looks so enjoyably stunning. If u guys think by owning an Iphone is the best decision esp those like 4 inchers , from iPhone 5 to SE, u are damn wrong. Once i have gone to this which is close to a 7 inch, i can never go back to using those 4 inchers again, even using a 5.5 inch asus zenfone 2 laser is considered small to me now ( which it was used to be big when i upgraded from 4 inch to 5.5 inch ). I highly recommend this phone to those who want a big screen! PS : Before buying this Ultra, i thought it was a bit too expensive so i bought the Asus zenfone go 6.9 inch ( a lower spec, a mid-ranger). Now i hardly pull out my ipad mini 2 tablet for entertainment since i have got the 2 in 1 phablet.

I sold my S7 Edge and the Note 7 is really just a big S7 Edge. Samsung played it safe like Apple. Sure it's a great phone, but I feel it's overpriced now. I'm stuck between the Zenfone 3 Ultra and Mi Max. 6.8" at times is just a bit too big in the pocket. Makes me look like I'm trying to shoplift a small book when I walk out of bookshops.

I wanted the deluxe, but it's still not out or very hard to get hold off. And less I like big phones after using the Mi Max. The bloatware was annoying as hell, but after 15 minutes I tamed it. Removed or disabled most of that ASUS crapware.

Actually you can wake the phone with just your fingerprint with out pressing the front button you have to go into the fingerprint settings and choose that option. This is the best phone i have ever owned and even in 2018 smashes the competition iPhone Samsung Honor. Doesn't even compare. But overall good review

The Super Resolution actually wouldn't work as well on a tripod as it relies on very slight movements of the camera to take multiple photos and then combines it into a higher res image. If the camera was completely still each pixel would be seeing the information on each photo it takes therefore it wouldn't really create a more detailed image. At least that is how Super Resolution is supposed to work.

Maybe, but I think the Adreno 510 GPU might have struggled with demanding games like Market Kombat X at 1440p. 1080p its super smooth and fine.
