Afraid not, she did Mary.Poppins 1963 to early 1964.Then she did the Amerization of Emily with James Garner in late 64.Then in 65.she did sound of music so Sound of music was her third film not her second

This is terrible. Why do you show a picture of Elsa Lanchester as the Bride of Frankenstein, Ann-Margret in Bye Bye Birdie, Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, Emily Blunt in Mary Poppins, not to mention a bunch of pictures of Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tyler- Moore and others that have nothing to do with Julie Andrew’s when talking about Julie Andrew’s? For example, what the heck does M*A*S*H have to do with her? Also, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before you post. She’s not 92. She’s 89!! 😡

I had wondered why it took a long time before Julie Andrews to get picked for the role of a Queen character between her time playing Guinevere in "Camelot" musical to the First time she took on the role of Queen Clarise Renaldi for the Princess Diaries films; Was it really due to everybody's era-long nostalgic association with her role as Marry Poppins because they had forgotten that Guinevere was the first most serious and important role she ever played in her entire stage and movie career? Kind of sad in my opinion.
