I used to weather like this when I was younger. It's a great way to bring out detail! I have this AT AT and recently got into airbrushing so am going to airbrush it with pre shading to make it look more screen accurate before I do the light weathering. Good vid. Informative to those who just want a quick enhancement for a pretty decent toy.

i think the weathering was a bit overdone for a Hoth walker but snow was very well applied. a little trick for rust lines done by fingers: go up instead of going down. that way you make it faint in lower parts and more vivid in upper parts. Big project.. job well done ! i would not dare doing it with mine.

I like your courage to go in heavy with the wash instead of building it up in multiple layers. I think I would try some additional dry brushing with white or lite grey.
