Thankyou, Dewayne, for giving the perfect example of how to conduct a productive, interesting interview ... all too often, the one doing the interview interrupts and interjects so much that the message is disjointed. You let Matson tell the story ... humility isn't a weakness, it's a strength you certainly possess ... what a pleasure. Great program, too ... God bless this young man & the other volunteers.

Thank you for talking about this subject! There is so much disgrace this Administration and prior Administrations have done to our serving Military and our Veterans. Being a RN and seeing how our Veterans are treated me is so disheartening. Thank you both for making a huge difference. ❤❤

My Mustang filly from Adobe Town WY is 3, I can crack a whip off her, herd cattle, use her as a shooting bench, give lessons to little kids, trail ride, and do mini jumps. She’s SO dang smart! Endurance for days. Takes her a while to trust, but once she knows you she won’t forget. Mustangs take patience and sometimes a bit more turn around time than domestic bred horses. They also tend to be healthier in general than domestic horses and get fat off dirt.

I watch these videos a lot as a young man who's looking for guidance in his life, and every time I watch one of these videos the thought always crosses my mind of what Dewayne looks like without his hat. But in all seriousness I appreciate these videos for inspiring me to be a good man and a better person every day. Thank you Dewayne.

Awesome. I just whipped out a fresh cigar and saw that Dewayne posted an hourlong video. Perfect timing. It’s like smoking a cigar while having an intellectual conversation with a good fellow man.

Thank you both for share experiences and how you are helping others work through traumatic experiences they have had. I do believe that to understand what an individual suffers from PTSD, a person who wants to help needs to experience a traumatic event, also. Not that I would wish PTSD on anyone, but I just think it is helpful. Thank you again both of you for all you do.

I was raised in Philadelphia around Drugs and crazy way of life very little super vision! I learned to deal with it! But it was a traumatic way of life! I never did any drugs or abused alcohol! I just knew I wanted a better life and made it happen! I lost so many family members to drugs! God bless you all

Hi Dewayne and Matson. I know Wyoming well....ex truck driver. People from Sheridan are down to earth BIGTIME. The language of the horse or animals in genrral, speak to my very core. From a trauma survivor ❤

Working with horses is one of the big reasons my life didn't take a very dark turn after I got out of the Marine Corps. I was in security forces for 2 years and the infantry for 6 years. That loss of purpose you spoke about, when I got out that loss just about wrecked me. I lost good friends while I was in but more have died way too young after we got out from drug overdoses and suicide that I attribute to lose of purpose. I have come a long way since then but I still don't deal well with people, but horses I get and they get me and I am grateful every day for mine. As far as what Matson is doing, man even if you only pull one back from the edge then everything you are doing has been worth while.

They say Yorkshire is God's own country but I reckon Wyoming is a close second. This is a terribly noble cause Matson is pursuing, and I wish him nothing but the best! Horses can be incredible animals to bond with. A quick question, if I may - What is a LEO? I hope you and yours are well, DeWayne. All the best from England!
@peterrandall43485 ай бұрын
Best guess- Law Enforcement Officer. We’ve got some scenery in Cornwall too, but a cigar and a coffee in Wyoming with Dewayne would take the biscuit.

LEO = Law Enforcement Officer.

@@DryCreekWranglerSchool Ah, but of course. I was racking my brain thinking of military positions for "LEO" but I came up short! Thanks for the clarification.
@Seronu5 ай бұрын
@@peterrandall4348 That makes sense. I was thinking of military positions that could have been "LEO" but I couldn't think of any. Now that I hearken my mind back to DeWayne's videos, that makes a lot more sense. Thanks, mate. Indeed. I've never visited Cornwall but I wish to some time soon. Take care.

What an informative interview. Both horses & humans have a need to be of service to others, so I wish Matson nothing but the best in his future endeavors & hopefully this exposure will get some more resources devoted to this excellent cause.

Thanks for this insight trauma is so relative trauma is not what is inside of you. It's how your mind process trauma!!! This is something I can't explain what my childhood done to me!! It's much much easier to talk with others who have experience the traumatic experience and why?? It's much easier to share with the same! I'm lost, sick, and tired hopelessness is my best friend and despair is shame just spelled different I'm ashamed of my childhood..
