I get laser done, but definitely thinking about quitting and getting this device. I always wondered why they used a white pencil but it makes sense now. Also I’ve been getting laser for a year now at an office and some parts of my body stop growing hair quicker than others. For instance i started with my abdomen but it took a long time to slow in hair growth but the Brazilian area stopped almost immediately. It’s really strange. I do want to buy this to try on my legs and maybe I’ll keep going to the office for my darker areas! Super Helpful Video!!!!

It’s because hair growth has stages and light/laser hair removal methods only work on hair follicles that are in the growth stage. Any follicles that are dormant will not be affected, and the thing is that it is different for ever hair follicle on your body, so you won’t know what is dormant until you see what areas regrow. And it can be dormant for months to years, hence the need for touch ups.

You are a breath of fresh air. I cannot express how much I adore your channel. Have never had laser hair removal, but rely on waxing. I do have issues on my calves with ingrown hairs. Is there less of a chance with laser? Love and prayers from NYC. ❤️🙏❤️

Thank you! Yes because the hair grows back a lot slower, you can still do both however I wouldn’t wax the same day. I would wait until two days has passed before I use my device Hope this helped 😍

@@princessmobucks8760 I did laser for a small patch of hair on my face and the lady did more then was necessary and the laser awakened dormant hairs and now I have almost a full face of dark hair. Electrolysis is permanent while laser is not and it’s also easier for them to do. Places that do laser want to keep customers while places that do electrolysis know that eventually you won’t need to come back

I haven’t waxed before only shaved and threaded. Out of the two I would definitely choose laser but you can still wax, shave, thread or even use hair removal cream while using at home laser

Waxing allows regrowth of the follicles. IPL destroys/reduces the size of the follicles after 8-12 sessions. Hairs will be gone or extremely less visible if not gone.

I think I'm lighter then her, but I read if you have dark skin and you can see your hair it should still work, the only thing is you need to use a very low setting so it doesn't burn your skin. The only way to really find out is to do a patch test on yourself.

So basically this machine want you to be as pale as possible with dark hair for the absolute best results... I would honestly try making your armpits seemingly lighter (by artificial means) with a little bit of hair growth before using there
